I have a vehicle loan. Someone messes up and put that my insurance had expired after 3 months and myself and my insurance agent sending them proof that it had not expired they got it. Now in that time they had put their own insurance on my vehicle andwill not reverse it. Now I have collections calling me continuously. I explain they say they will fix it then Nothng happens. This has been going on for 6 months EDIT. after they said they fixed it again I wake up to a delinquent account notice on my credit report from them destroying an 800 credit score I have worked very hard to achieve. I don't know what to do.

If I could give a negative score I would! Worse bank ever and the worst CEO and Aaron that sits below him. I had a theft of my card that had not been activated for a year! I contacted them as soon as I noticed charges and overdraft! They told me aorry nothing we can do! I had to pay the amount back and they still charged me the overdraft fees! I asked for proof that I even agreed to overdraft protection and no one was able nor have yet sent me such documentation! Once the account was paid they closed it and then reported it to my credit report as a loan charge off zero balance! I will continue to go up the ladder and file complaints with the state and federal CCUboards ! I have also disputed it with all three credit bureaus! This is not ok!

This is a HORRIBLE PLACE if you need to speak with someone. Our brother passed away and it was almost impossible to communicate with this place, Dozens of emails, each one with an auto response "we'll get back to you". Last minute surprises to take egregious fees. Disgraceful!! Stay Away! USELESS!

Little to no financial help for someone who has done construction on 5 houses, 2 in the area. Nearing 30's in age.

Great, not perfect, bills. I received a bill from this location from my source. It was a new and well pressed but not perfect. I really like a clean and stiff bill that isn't starchy. I would definitely use this location if I didn't have access to mint.

Will 100% be moving my loan to another bank. They tacked on a $2500 expensive "insurance" onto my loan without my permission when I had insurance through State Farm the whole time! The system they use to show proof of insurance is a joke and now I think I'm going to miss the deadline even though I submitted it on time because they "have more questions." Not a single email or any alert... only sent 2 letters in the mail like it's 1991. I've had this loan almost 3 years and got a new policy and forgot to submit a declaration page. Maybe try calling? You'll be hearing from me on Monday!!!

I initially had a accident June 8, 2022 while working. Unable to work and receiving partial payments for injuries received via electronic check from a claims company. I am a student and new resident of Iowa. Deciding to deposit and open a new account with this credit union on June 23; in order to sustain myself for the duration of my stay. During account setup inside the branch, the teller explained the all of the mission, rules and regulations of the bank. He also verified the check via phone with the bank and claims management company that cleared the check; due to its large amount. However, once verifying this information it was made clear to me new accounts have 10-day holds for protection of the bank and customer. My issue is per the U.S. Federal Act “In 1987, Congress passed the Expedited Funds Availability Act (PDF) (EFAA), to address concerns about the lengths of holds banks were then placing on checks deposited by their customers. The EFAA establishes maximum permissible hold periods for checks and other deposits. The Board's Regulation CC (12 CFR part 229) implements the funds-availability and disclosure provisions of the EFAA in Subpart B of the regulation.” meaning that it’s at the banks discretion to minimize the hold period. Well it’s been 8 total days since deposit, or 6 business days. I’ve tried calling customer support & reaching out to online support to get funds released earlier. No prevail. So I am forced to wait a total of 14-Days! when electronic checks can be verified instantaneously. Not only am I in dire need of these funds because of bills and fees. I am forced to wait until after a bank holiday (4th of july) to be able to utilize funds. I despise saying this, but I believe this refusal to release such an extreme hold is due to discrimination. Regardless of credit score or check systems score if a customer is asking for services within a reasonable means; then the bank should be willing to conveniently and efficiently meet the need.

When I signed up for Autopay with my city utilities, Green State refused the charges because they couldn't reach me on the phone, causing me to get a $25 refusal fee, which Green State did not reimburse me for when I had to go in and address the issue.

Be warned…A dealership underwrote an auto loan through them— didn’t think much of it.We put the note on auto pay— it has had 100% payment history. However, Greenstate increased the note’s monthly payment amount through hidden fees— then the auto payment amount didn’t cover it.Without warning, Greenstate reported this as a missed payment on my credit. This has massacred my previously perfect credit.I’ve been trying to resolve this; it takes a while with a 45min wait time to reach anyone.

I used them to buy a rental property. The process went fine, but they sold my loan to Amerihome Mortgage Company who is horrible to deal with. They mentioned they'd probably sell the loan, but I wasn't clear on what this would look like. What's the point of using a credit union if they're just going to sell your loan to a mega-corporation?

GreenState did an awesome job setting me up with their rewards plus checking account and their rewards credit card. Highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new low-interest credit card.

I have always had great service and help at Green State Credit Union on Mormon Trek Blvd. and believe in shopping locally and value having a relationship with those who provide the services that I need and remain loyal to them when I find the best. I have been a member of this Credit Union for over 50 years, financed two homes and numerous vehicles which should speak for itself.
