Watched a set of crock bowls listed 3/5, waiting for them to go half off after 80 days. Came back and they have a new sticker with a new date, so no sale. Compare stickers of clearance items to those full price—incredible price difference so they still make way more money ($20 for a pair of used toddler shorts??). Real shady

I spoke with the sweetest woman on the phone about a chair I "neeeeded". It was a half hour to closing and I was in Cedar Rapids. I made it before they closed!!! And as soon as I walked in the door she was there asking if I was the one that called and took me to the chair, gave us a furniture dolly to take it up front and said "I told them that even if you got here after close to let you in". I heart this lady, I can't even say how much I appreciate her. Give this woman a raise!!!

The absolute rudest employees I've ever experienced. Not only did she go and tell a 10 year old she had to get out when she was tying her shoe, she walked around clapping at people to get out (it had just hit closing time). Then she took frequent breaks from ringing customers up so she could blow her nose and continue--maybe she could be provided sanitizer and a better attitude.

Unknown to us we arrived on their 50% off sale! Prices are always fair; however, at 50% off it was bargain shopping!We always enjoy clothing shopping here and normally do quite well finding good quality used items and this experience didn't disappoint.Thanks for another great experience. If you continue with the quality and value we'll continue to make the 2.5 hour drive.

Dear Stuff, Etc. Iowa City: I tried to like you, I really did, but this relationship just has too many issues. I consigned several pieces of furniture and the confirmation email never came. You "lost" an entire bin of my high quality household items and two pair of UGG boots. The trust is gone. When I consigned my last bin of items, I was not told that if I wanted the rejects back (I did) I had to purchase your $5 black reusable bag to put my items in. If I change my mind, I have to BUY BACK my own property for 10% of the original selling price. It costs $5 to open an account, $2.50 to mail each payout check. If I'm lucky, I'll get 40% of the selling price, but with your frequent special sales, that doesn't leave me with much. That last bin I mentioned netted me 68 cents and all the expired merchandise gets baled and shipped overseas, not donated to charity. Future consignors beware, and read the fine print before you commit. Follow them on Facebook to know about the way too many last minute changes in store hours and times that they accept drop offs. Me, I'm so done with this and will donate to Crowded Closet next door, or consign with Houseworks.

Very clean, organized, and prices are very reasonable. Stuff is now on my "must go" list whenever I'm in Iowa City visiting my kids. Love this store!

Loved shopping at Stuff. However, selling to them has been a nightmare. They frequently change consignment hours wo notifying you, the presort the items you want to sell and don't let ya know ahead of time what they will take. Total waste of time to try to sell to them.

Iowa City Stuff has the most pleasant busy, busy, quick and efficient lady by the name of Jeanette who works the front desk. What a pleasant and friendly lady. She is soooooo busy on Tuesday mornings but always maintains her smile and willingness to help you. I would employ a person like this 10x's over. I hope you appreciate her.
