Service has declined significantly in past few years. No loyalty to customers that used there services over 25 years. They claim they have had some problems. You solve them or get out of business .Very slow tax preparation.

My wife and I have been using Smith Accounting for years. Every year I go in expecting to owe and some how I get a return. We have full faith in the Smith Accounting team's integrity and experience. I had an unfortunate experience with Smith Accounting. I am a new business owner and needed strong guidance and support with accounting and taxes, this is not what transpired. Our taxes were done at the last minute, literally the day taxes were due, poor communication throughout the process, and poor instruction on how to submit the taxes. We ended up having to pay late fees due to the lack of communication and timely submission of our documents. We had everything to them in Feb. They are knowledgeable but clearly overwhelmed and lack communication.
