They sell broken and incomplete items. Downright fraudulent selling practices. Offered no retribution after demonstrating broken item upon receipt. I expect better from an Iowan family owned business.

It used to be a great place to score some killer deals. Now it's like that shady uncle that always stops by and stares at your wife while trying to convince you to invest in his new sure thing investment. Their never open long enough to inspect the items and they NEVER describe if the item is broken or missing pieces. They do say to inspect it before you bid as long as it's between 9-1. and most pieces are damaged or missing something. I hope they get their act together. Sorry Uncle Sharpless, you lost my trust.

They don't want to sell regular people consignments anymore just truckloads of damaged china junk. Too bad. It was a great place until they started this crap.

Used to be great place to recycle estate items..even new never used items..now they decide if "good enough to sell online. they are never going back to live auction so don't want to mess with used items. Thanks for nothing!

Very shady. We bought an inflatable hot tub for $200. The box was damaged but the photo was just the box showing the complete set-up as was the description. When we took it out it was only the plastic blow up tub — moldy and wet. There was no pump, no controller, no hardware whatsoever, making it totally useless. Later, we did go back through the lots and noticed a pump was sold separately in a different lot. Apparently they have little integrity and are just out for the money. Buyer be ware. If you buy anything from these people, make sure you call and make them open the box and catalog everything inside. Otherwise, don’t bother.

I bid on this item and found out that it was completely damaged on the top right corner. Their website even took photos knowing to avoid the chipped corner and then deliberately didn’t report damage on the info section. Photo is attached with details. I asked through their “contact auctioneer” button about the product 3 days in advance because I wanted to continue isolation with Covid. They never responded and when I asked for a refund they reprimanded me for isolating and refused to give money back because they are “just a small business”. They want a quick buck and don’t treat their clientele with the Iowan hospitality my family all used to know this place had when it first was established.

Very bad place... Not sure if it was the owner of not but kept following me around saying racist remarks... Called me a towel head asked if I had a pipe bomb.. Very disrespectful place do not recommend at all.... I will be contacting the BBB and a few other places.... Wll not do business with them again.. Don't recommend this place to anyone.....
