Confirmed a truck two hours ago over the phone and through several emails. We got there 15 minutes ago only to find out "there's a glitch in the system and it's booking trucks we don't have". We're moving across the country in less than two days and this mattered. Do better.Update: Not bothering to call you. You told my fiance when we went to pick up the truck that you attempted to call earlier and left voicemails many times when you realized there was no truck available to inform us before we drove there. Here's the thing though: he's had his phone ring on ultra loud and it's been next to me all day (and yes, he's received other calls). You didn't call with an update, and left no voicemails. We are now forced to drive to Des Moines in our last 42 hours to book another company, when we have more pressing matters to deal with. If you rely on a computer system to tell you what's available and it can't guarantee what you're seeing, you can track a truck's GPS or even go out to the parking lot and physically confirm there is a truck with the matching number sitting there. All you've accomplished is proving that this is a company whose word means nothing, because your confirmation system can't do what its namesake suggests.

Simple process. Just wish they would give you exactly what you reserved. Got a 16 foot truck instead of a 12. Had a tight space so the larger truck was difficult. Very nice staff and a good quality truck at a reasonable price. Seemed to be Penske not the local people who mixed it up.

Good no problem with the truck. Unfortunately no good advice for fixing the car in the back car trailer. Our car gets untide following on line instructions save us.

Rented a 16" Penske truck to move across the country. The truck was ready at the pickup time and everything went very smoothly. They even recommended we pick up the truck without the car carrier first to make loading the truck easier and we were able to come back and get the carrier attached the next day. As long as you're okay driving a large truck yourself I think this works out much better than hiring a moving company (and saved us a huge amount of money).

I got a great rate on a local rental. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well.
