Alejandro was cool. He checked us out this afternoon. We wouldn’t have noticed but he noticed that our meat had some punctures in the packaging and got us a new package.

Overall fine but overpriced and understocked. Has a pretty small selection of produce and not a ton of budget-friendly options. If you're looking for a huge selection of supplements/vitamins, natural cosmetics and soaps, and (expensive) raw goods, this is the perfect place for you! But as someone who is looking for a healthy grocery store with a wide food selection and different pricepoint options, this place isn't for me.

Customer service has consistently been actually harmful for me. God saw everything that I experienced in this store. Hope people become better humans.- healthy food is a. Blessing. - but there is. A huge amount of room for people to be nicer better at their jobs more understanding compassionate and kind here. There’s a lot. Of toxicity in this place that hasn’t changed at all in the years that I have been shopping here. “Good for u. Has to be more then just food. I hope God corrects the imbalances here. I forgive people for being less then perfect but they sure do not delivery on world class customer service accountability or even being decent to others on my book

HORRIBLE customer service. Bought an item that was on sale. Didn’t like it so the next day I took it back to exchange it. The assistant manager on duty said she could not do anything for me because it was final sale as it was expiring the day I bought it therefore last day they could sell. Let them know that I hardly ever come to Natural Grocers so I’m not aware of all their policies and there was no sign on their sale cart saying those items were final sale. Not even help with a one time courtesy exchange. Not even considerate of the possibility that perhaps because it was expired it was not good. I asked if it was just too bad and my money is lost and all she could say was yes. Save yourself a trip here and go shop at the farmers market, bread garden or pioneer co-op if you want your organic and Whole Foods options ! I would give it 0 stars if I could. I even had the receipt and purchased several items. Not a great way to retain or sustain returning customers.

My go to grocery store for organic products. Love their fresh produce, eggs, juice, and chocolate collection!
Definitely recommend at the best organic grocery store in and around iowa city.

Natural Grocers is an amazing company. I appreciate their dedication to their values, and their research. They make sure everything they're selling is good for the consumer long-term, and they ACTIVELY do those kinds of research. The employees are always kind, they are more than helpful, and full of the know-what and know-how. They also have great seed selection, though I'm wanting to see more herbs again this year, as well as the fruits and veggies.

They have a good selection of organic products and supplements. Some of the supplements here are even cheaper than what you may find on Amazon. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have already been to this place a lot and will definitely go back again.

Friendly service but it can be a little intimidating trying to find specific items/vitamins. Very large selection that always seems to be changing.
