Upon arriving early to my scheduled appointment, I was welcomed by Dr. Hatcher. I waited in the seating area while he quickly, yet thoroughly flowed through the appointment that was scheduled before mine. Dr. Hatcher was friendly and knowledgeable, while he explained the process and procedures to me. As a self-pay client, I can attest to the fact that his prices were very reasonable, compared to several other testing sites in Eastern Iowa. I would recommend Iowa City Drug and Alcohol Testing to others and rate my experience with 5 stars.

It is mandated that all of my employees go to get drug tested on a regular and random basis. This is the only place that we go. They always fit us in right away and provide the quickest results. If needed, Dr Hatcher can even travel to you for on-site testing, which is extremely helpful for company wide testing or team sports. I highly recommend and will not go anywhere else.

Stopped by with my mother for a quick drug test and left this space feeling irritated and disrespected. So upon our arrival we met with a male employee at the receptionist desk where we stated our reason for the visit and once we were asked to present a photo ID (which we lacked because my mom keeps it in her car and i drove her with mine this particular morning) things starting going south. Immediately, the employee grew surprised and made snide comments about arriving for a drug test without proper identification and etc. Not paying his reaction much attention, my mother and i offered solutions and were able to continue our visit. While logging our information in, however, the employee started asking us questions about where we were from and unapologetically butchered the pronunciation of our home country and continued to ask questions that were irrelevant to the reason of our visit. Not once did he seem genuinely interested—not with all the annoyed squinting and talking over us that he was doing. He even started googling the country and when I let him know that we were tight on time as my mother had work to go, he said “Oh, so you come in here without an ID and now you’re rushing me...”. I told him, with respect, that i wouldn’t call it rushing him but he still felt the need to repeat—and finish my sentence—by saying “rushing me”. I told him that he was free to call it that if he wanted and my mother walked to the back with him to do her examination and I noticed that he made yet another snide comment with her too when she accidentally stepped out of the bathroom with her sample instead of leaving it in the dropbox in the bathroom like he “told her to”.
