Poorly maintained, poorly staffed, and poorly managed; this location has really gone downhill in recent years. On three different occasions I've stopped to fill up only to find that gas prices are 10 cents higher at the pump than advertised on the sign that drew me in.Paper towels and windshield washing supplies are regularly completely depleted. On several occasions there has only been ONE dilapidated squeegee for the entire suite of pumps.Bathrooms are disgusting and obviously infrequently cleaned or inspected. One in three visits I find they have no soap or no paper towels.Sodas and flavors are often out, but the fountain is unlabeled and staff doesn't seem to care or notice. Some flavors have been unavailable for months at a time, but remain unlabeled at the dispenser. The price for a soda refill changes near-daily: $1.00, $1.35, $1.05, $1.55, $0.99... and I can never get a straight answer as to why it changes.Staff often appears to be overwhelmed and under-supported by management (I have yet to see a manager anywhere in the store, much less helping employees keep up, regardless of the time of day).I highly recommend a staff checklist for the start and end of every shift. Some items to include: Check bathrooms for cleanliness and supplies, check pump islands for supplies, report any problems or insufficiencies to management. And lastly, it is obvious that your store is woefully understaffed, and employees are poorly trained in dealing with issues that arise. If you're having trouble hiring, it's time to offer higher wages and better support from management to hire, train, and retain good employees. As it stands, this store falls far short of the Hy-Vee "helpful smile" brand. Both upper and middle management need to do better. Much better.

Went here to charge my car and stopped in and saw some deals. It was a 20oz Pepsi and any grill roller item for $2.99. It was a steal. Also grabbed my partner a medium soda that was advertised for $0.88. We ended up getting charged full price for all items. Something that would've been like $4 or so, it was almost $8. Lady didn't really seem to care either way so we just left.

A solid, upstanding gassing experience was had here, by me, on at least a few occasions. The petrol flowed smooth and true. Free air pump to get my tires feeling right. Happy psi, happy husband. They were out of Juul pods when I went inside? Gas stations can't run out of Juul pods. Juul pods are to me what gasoline is to my car.

Our local Hy-Vee is our preferred store to do our shopping. Love the serve and your employees. I realize that the whole world is being effected by inflation. And I feel Hy-Vee is taking advantage of the situation and is gouging its loyal customers!

I haven't had Hyvee breakfast in forever! Yesterday, I stopped in with my youngest daughter so we could eat/hangout between basketball games. I had a veggie skillet with added sausage. The breakfast was just as good as I remembered and staff was awesome!

2Stats because the seafood and butcher guys are awesome! They always give me a deal. However the rest of the store seems angry your there in the way?? I thought I knew a couple of the staff but they all just got angrier over the last couple months. I'm thinking of going to first ave Hyvee there you know that most of the staff will not be polite, that's better than being lied to.

The customer service here is below average, very slow and not very helpful. To add on to this their are also a majority of people in the store with no mask, and it's quite dirty, scary during a pandemic. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

My daughter ordered pie for her wedding from this hyvee location. She had the order placed 2 weeks in advance! 2 days before the wedding the bakery manager called and said the were not sent the right pie. This was not the truth. The bakery manager did not submit the order nor did he check the other stores in town to see if they had the right pies. Also there were no utensils offered. No charge for the pie!!! I would go elsewhere . The bakery manager came off as not caring. My daughter said when she placed the order she got a bad vibe from the bakery manager. The store manager is very capable and accommodating. However she did not get back to me as she said she would. The pie that was sent was not the pie that was ordered.

Social Distancing. The new norm. Unfortunately you still need to get sustenance during a pandemic. But OMG. Walking in the store just gives me the heebie jeebies-- I can't imagine going aisle by aisle, finding my must-haves in a very picked-over store right now. Eeek. This review is based on my experience with Hy-Vee at this location during the pandemic. I've been a longtime Hy-Vee Aisles Online Grocery Shopping customer. HOWEVER. Surprise, surprise-- because of the panic and self quarantining in the community they're super, duper busy! Deliveries and pickup are days and days out at so many of the local stores. This one is the somewhat forgotten of the couple locations in IC/Coralville and I could get next day pickup. BOOM. I drove across town and up to one of their three designated spots. An employee came out to confirm what the name on my order was. He then came out, loaded them in my trunk. Had me sign for them, show him my ID (I had ordered alcohol). Easy peasy. Everyday things are changing. But the need for groceries is not going to change. Thank you to this Hy-Vee for being there for us during this uncertain and extremely stressful time. The employees who are out there stocking the shelves, personal shopping or making deliveries-- you're making this all a bit easier for the rest of us and I am so grateful.
