3 of the 4 EV car charging cables work in the parking lot (The chargepoint ones). The fourth cable is severed. I like to charge my car while shopping. Since I can not make use of my HY-Vee gas rewards this is as nice incentive to visit the store; the gas rewards are worthless to me since I have an electric car.
The store itself does a good job of making the most of its space. Though there are many cases, there are more store brands than regular brand choices.

Awesome grocery, been going here for years as my main source of groceries. Low prices, lots of deals, and the rewards program is amazing.

This is a review not specifically for this Hyvee location alone, but all locations I’ve been to.
Hyvee used to be my main grocery shopping store. At a time, I used to find it affordable and convenient, but neither are true anymore.
Hyvee absolutely price gouges. Just today, I had to go to this location to pick up a prescription and passed an end cap with micellar water (make up remover) for…$12….WHAT!? Not only that but in general, women’s products pricing are exorbitant and lack variety, especially in feminine hygiene and period products. Hyvee exclusively sells basically two brands known for their carcinogenic ingredients. They do not sell safe products for women and what they do sell is expensive. They will offer me twenty four options for ketchup but only two, dangerous options for my wellbeing.
Another issue I have is the placement of items. I’m constantly annoyed by the insect sprays and chemical household cleaners being in the same space as the pet food.
I do whatever I can to avoid these stores, but sometimes they are the only option, especially for pharmaceuticals nearby and if I need one specific ingredient I can’t get at Aldi.
Oh yeah, once I bought a bundle of asparagus this last spring. Guess how much?…$9.
