This is my favorite downtown IC business, the kindest staff, divine style & very eclectic products. One of the two best thrifting spots in this town in my opinion! I always feel better popping in & hope you take time to check it out!

One of my most favorite shops in Iowa City. The art is wonderful, the vibes are always spot on. The crystal selection is awesome and the prices are always the best in town. I will always recommend this shop to those visiting IC.

Beautiful store, great vibes! Between the crystals, plants, books, and ceramics, I always leave with more than I came looking for. All of the employees I have talked with there have been super helpful and respectful. One even pulled out a book about crystals when my friend and I had questions to help us make a well informed decision. And don’t forget to check out the basement! Well curated vintage selection. One of my favorite haunts! ?

I am a regular at Heim and could not love my weekly/bi-weekly visit to this store. The store is gorgeous and has a unique, beautiful aesthetic consisting of stars, moons, the sun, plants, ghosts, and all sorts of trinkets up for purchase. Even my non-witchy friends love to shop their vintage items from F&F downstairs.
Cannot recommend Heim enough and consider it a "must" for anyone passing by the store to pop in. :]

When I first visited the shop it was my first time ever in Iowa city and I really enjoyed it the person who checked out my items was nice and the store seemed really neat. I decided to come back a few months later and I had a complete opposite experience when with a friend. The person working was extremely rude and actually berated me in the empty store because of the comment I made to my friend about a personal preference in crystals. I couldn’t believe the experience I had I was almost in tears and my friend had to drag me out of the store because I was so stunned and frozen in place. It took me about a year to be able to go back and I finally did. Thankfully a different person was working and she was fine but the whole time I was in such a state of anxiety I stared at the floor. I tried to reach out to the owner about what happened and had no reply. Overall I am fairly disappointed and wish I had a better experience because I do not currently try to recommend this shop to my friends, which is sad because the look and overall atmosphere of the decor is great.

One of my favorite stores in Iowa City. It always feels like home to walk in. Allison has filled the shop with carefully curated items and actively supports other small business in the process. You can find anything from crystals, jewelry, stickers, hair clips, new and vintage clothing, plants, tarot cards, and so much more!
The employees are always very helpful and incredibly sweet. I recently broke my old hematite ring and was looking for a new one. I let one of the staff members know, and they messaged me right away when a new order came in so I could pop in and pick it up! Heim is a staple in Iowa City.

A dreamy shop with everything you could want in Iowa City: handmade ceramics, vintage clothing, plants!, tarot decks, crystals, accessories (the hair clips are so cute), jewelry, stickers, stationery, and so much more! A great small biz where your support benefits the local economy, the wonderful humans who run the shop, and the artists who get to sell their work there. this is my favorite place to shop downtown. Allison is an amazing business owner, and you can feel the care she has for her merchandise (it’s always so curated!) as well as her employees (Anna and Rachel are always so pleasant and helpful!). I have to hold myself back from dropping in too often because I WILL buy gifts for everyone I know.
