“This Target is right in the center of Downtown Iowa City. It's of course smaller than its suburban siblings, but it packs a lot of inventory in its 2 floors. The extended hours also accents the overall convenience of this place. The first floor is heavy on groceries, including a generous selection of beer and wine. That's a good thing for folks like me who took a bottle of wine back to my hotel room. Ditto for over 21 students and folks who live in the neighborhood or are visitors. They do card everyone, and I enjoyed the comment from a Target team member who had never seen a Nevada driver's license before. The 2nd floor is more household sundries, clothing, and other goods targeted towards more every day shopping.”

2401 Scott Blvd SE, Iowa City“As usual my most recent visit to Restore was a good experience. They have good prices and lots of variety. You never know what you will find and that's part of what I enjoy. This unpredictability can be frustrating, however, because they may not have what you want. Staff there are great. They seem to be less well stocked since pandemic so I only gave them 4 stars. Hope people start donating again.”
“The location was sort of cool like those you see in the city being a two-story location. Obviously, items in stock are limited to those needed by students or those you see in the convenience store, but it serves its purpose for 80% of things a person needs. Prices seemed a little higher but I'm guessing that's due to the convenience the store offers. The staff were all friendly.”
“The staff is friendly and work with you on anything so they can achieve the honest honor of all honesty and respectable they are amazing with everything they do and most of their house items make a house a home with the vibe they have and the items themselves always being affordable and nice they strive to make their business a wonderful setting and homelike.”
“I stopped by UM this weekend with the out-of-state guests I was hosting. The owner greeted us with such warmth and expertise. Beyond that, my child was invited to select a small vintage toy as a token of our visit and to allow the adults a few extra minutes of uninterrupted gander. A brilliant move!
I found an amazing vintage coat that the owner generously discounted in anticipation of a future coat sale.
You can tell the owners love what they do, love our community, and have a true talent for selecting items of importance. Such a treat to visit!”
