These people have no idea how they can change a person's life in 5 minutes. They changed mine by helping me with my pets care I didn't think I could afford something for my pet they changed my pet's life and my life in a minute. They were like angels and I am grateful for them and I want them to know that. They are all greatly appreciated

an absolutely terrible place to work for! the management has no idea how to handle situations. the will fire or lay people off at will just to save jobs for their friends, and to hell with anyone else. I would not recommend applying to work here until they get better management, which isn't going to happen because there is no one to hold them accountable!

Stopped by here on accident while looking for the CommUnity food bank. The food bank is located at 1045 HW 6 East, for anyone else trying to find it (it's called "Community Food Bank - Pepperwood Pantry" on google maps). This location is for other services that CommUnity provides.CommUnity is truly an incredible resource for the community and I encourage people to donate if you can - they are doing amazing work.

I go for the organic and healthy items and its a hit or miss. Majority of the volunteers are polite and professional while some are hostile and like to profile "certain" people. One time there was an "unlimited" sign for the individual mochi and one of the volunteers profiled me infront of my mom and friend. She yelled at me causing a scene and everyone looked at me. She accused me of stealing and going over the limit. A couple (Black man and White woman) infront of me even deffended me and said the volunteer was rude and was profiling me. Today, I got yelled at because there was a shelf with only one item I wanted and the lady ahead of me was taking forever. 3 minutes passed so I skipped that shelf, which I have done everytime in the past and never got scolded for it. I have seen others do the same without getting scolded at. Some of these volunteers are nasty and accuse low income people of stealing free food. Some of these volunteers are on power trips and like to attack minorities, especially the ones that look foreign. I am usually profiled in that category despite being a citizen and being 6 generations American on my paternal side. Please stop letting racist people volunteer when half the people that attend this food bank are minorities. I have seen a couple female volunteers scream and yell at African and Hispanic moms who don't speak English for going over the limit. Why don't you just get some volunteers that are biligual and can speak French and Spanish? Problem solved. And I think cultural awareness training would be great for the few racist volunteers.Lastly, I am tired of hearing of new made up rules. If those are rules please make a sign with expectations and rules. Make the signs in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.

They are not for the community like they claim to be. They lied to me. When it comes to helping financialy they will set your appointment back so far and then tell you that they can't help. It should be a law for false advertising. Im looking into a lawsuit.
