My husband and I worked with Tim Conroy multiple times over the last few years. Our first move was from out of state and we trusted Tim to view homes for us during a fast moving market. He was honest and truthful in his interpretation of homes we visited at showings. He was truly looking for us to find a home we loved, instead of merely making a sale. When we found our forever home a year and a half after we moved to the area, he helped to facilitate a competitive offer on our new home and successfully sold our old home, despite the threat of climbing interest rates. Throughout the process, Tim has been reachable, honest and reassuring. His team helped clean our old place, staged it after we moved and even did snow removal and minor repairs. 10/10 would recommend.

My partner and I worked with Tim Conroy to help find us a new home in the Iowa City area, and we couldn't be happier with his service! We started working with Tim long distance, as we were moving from California. He took us on several virtual home tours via FaceTime, and provided excellent feedback on a shortlist of potential homes we found on Zillow.Later on, we were able to come out to Iowa, and Tim spent two and a half days taking us to see about a dozen homes in Iowa City and Coralville. The days were organized well, and Tim provided helpful thoughts about the properties we were seeing. He also showed a really deep knowledge of the area which was a saving grace to us as newcomers to Iowa. We found a home we loved in Coralville, and Tim helped us get an offer together at breakneck speed because we had to hop on a plane back to California.We got the house, and Tim was extremely helpful getting us ready for closing, including attending the inspection on our behalf, drafting a remedy request, and recommending painters and cleaners, among other things. His communication throughout this process was great, keeping us posted on how things were going at the house.In addition to his top-notch service, Tim is a friendly, thoughtful, and hilarious person. We really appreciated his "bedside manner" as we navigated this cross-country move. We would definitely recommend Tim to anyone looking to buy a home in the Iowa City area!

We were very pleased with the service we received from Blank & McCune, specifically Tim and Alan. From the time and attention to listing/showing/and selling our home (very quickly) to the support in the search to find just the right place for our family. We never felt like we were pestering with questions; they always welcomed our texts/emails/phone calls. Their advice and expertise were invaluable in this experience and I am certain we wouldn't have had the same success with out their guidance!

For an Elite group in Iowa City. We had a very bad experience. They promised a lot with on line service like Zillow. We showed them the property. During the tour one of the agent walked right thru our garden crushing one of Hosta. His comment was "oh, I didn't see it". Hard to believe a real agent is not aware of the property he is walking around.They group left saying they would do a number of things for us. A day later, they came back with "The property does not fit our portfolio". A day early, a historic house in downtown Iowa City was in their portfolio. Which is even stranger because they were my realtor 19 years ago when I sold my old house and purchase the current house that does not fit their portfolio.My advice is ask for three current references and CHECK THEM!I would also add the one of the "Google Reviews" that gave this team 5 stars is one of the brokerage agents and the person that crush our Hosta.

I think I found where mean girls go to work when they grow up. So very many catty, rude, back-stabbing and unprofessional realtors here. I have done business with them as both a buyer and a seller several times, and I hope to never have to do so again. I've worked with four different realtors and, invariably, they have all been unpleasant to deal with. There are certain parts of Iowa City that the firm consider "theirs," such as the area around the VA Hospital and UIHC (Manville Heights), so if you own a home in that area and you choose to list it with another real estate firm you can expect no help from B&M if their clients like your house. There are so many good firms in Iowa City--interview realtors first before you just settle for this one!
