May 2024 by PIG LAND!!!
We found a cat in our yard that almost got killed by our dogs. We thought it had rabies but it did not have all the signs. It would shake and not move when we tried to get it to. It ate food and drank water perfectly and so we packed it up in a cage we had and took it to kiya koda. We found out the cat was a female. She was blind and had diabetes. Sadly the cat died shortly after, but they're amazing service and always pick up the phone faster than ever. I helped my friends to find her lost cat with this. Amazing people.

I rescued Ozzy a few months ago. He was a very scared, angry cat when I got him. I just wanted to let the amazing staff at Kiya Koda know that he is loving his new life here. He's sweet and cuddly and loves to play. And he lives his treats!

They are a wonderful Human Shelter for dogs & cats. They truly care about making sure every animal is cared for while trying to find their forever homes. Also please donate to them if u can !

The people there are on a different level than others. It's not my level, and that's ok. But my level, prevents me and mine from even walking in the door.

keep getting rejected and denied for adoption. Plus he knows how they're treating all the animals there.

Never recommend adopting an animal from them . Very unprofessional and it seems they don’t want to adopt animals out . Just got the run around

They had to keep my cat longer than I had originally planned because I got ill and they were very gracious about it! Manager Julie was wonderful. Laura delivered my cat to me as I was unable to pick him up. I highly recommend Kiya Koda!!

Friendly people and decent selection of dogs.Sadly, per the notes on the whiteboards on the front of the cages, the dogs we really liked have to be the only dog and we already have one. Highly recommended shelter!

They deserve kudos for being a no kill shelter. Run entirely on donations, the staff was friendly and courteous
