This is the second time coming to this clinic. I have been very impressed both times. I brought my 13 year old chihuahua in today with a swollen hard abdomen and clearly not comfortable. I was thinking the worst. I was having a panic attack almost. They had me come in immediately and took him back to make sure he was stable. They did not mention money at all but I did let them know my situation. They were very calm which made me calm. Everything turned out as best as possible. It was extremely reasonable. Thank you for being so awesome with my tooters!

They can cut the nails and care for my very anxious pug! Love this clinic! I highly recommend going to the Indianola Vet Clinic!

Been bringing my dog here for 5 years, never had a problem. He's never been sick until now. Itching like crazy, raw skin etc. The Dr gave him 2 meds. He ended up worse a week later. While there, had his nails trimmed. Keep in mind, he's already out of sorts and in pain with this infection and he comes out with his nails looking like this and hurting because they are pretty much gone. He will hardly walk due to it. I've never seen such a poor job. We won't be back. Fail x2 fir almost 400. Let me just say tho, staff up front is amazing. So friendly and caring. A lot of the reason we've been coming for so long.

These drs (&staff) go above and beyond to care for your animals! We drive over 45 minutes to see them because of how amazing they have all been with our little pup! Our dog is high risk and needed a hip surgery and they took great care of her. They could’ve charged me a fortune for the hip surgery but instead when our dog was asleep the Dr called me and said she doesn’t need this surgery actually( that another vet had diagnosed with X-ray) so would you like me to clean her teeth while she’s under!? THEN just this week we needed pain meds and I have three kids and a hurting dog and was dreading driving so far! They called and said one of the vets had offered to drop it off at my house because she was going my way! ABOVE and BEYOND !

Bad customer service. I waited an hour to put my dying cats to sleep. Had to leave because I had to work. Asked how much longer it would be and they couldn’t tell me. They did apologize for the bad service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I am so thankful for IVC and their whole team. My dog required emergency GI surgery and the emergency pet hospital I was at in Des Moines couldn’t do the surgery that day due to its more complicated nature. The Des Moines pet hospital called around town, and Dr. Stumpf generously offered to stay late and do it same-night for my dog. I immediately drove to IVC and they quickly got things going, I got an update from Dr. Stumpf that everything went well! I am so grateful for the immediate and amazing care my dog received. Everyone working in the front and back loved on my dog and were so kind. Such a great experience, during a very stressful time.

Friendly and helpful. We walkin on Saturday morning for dog vaccine. The waiting period was not long considering it was holiday weekend and other veterinarians office were closed so others were traveling to Indianola as we did.

People who have never worked in the vet industry should not be allowed to comment on how the front desk works act. That being said, this is probably the best clinic I've been too. The front desk works are always busy and over worked and they are awesome and doing a great job. The doctors are always professional and helpful when i bring my dog in. For a walk in clinic everyone is super nice and helpful and takes in what I want for my dog into account. I recommend this clinic to everyone.

In my opinion, this is the best vet around. They have done a couple of surgeries on my dog with amazing results. I couldn't be happier.

The staff are awesome. They really care about the pets. I had started looking for a new vet & will be bringing all of my pets here. My cat was injured & this was the only vet clinic that would see him the same day.I will not be going anywhere else for my pets needs

I no longer go to this vet clinic. 1. creepy old man vet, invaded my space repeatedly. I was about to open the door to leave when one of techs came in "to check something". I thought maybe I overreacted but a friend of mine had a similar experience. most of the staff has changed over so maybe he is gone by now. I made my husband take the pets for awhile. 2. changes in policies without any warning. I had brought my pets here for awhile until I called in a medication order only to be told when I arrived that they required tests to be ran before they could give me the meds. I wouldn't have been bothered by this if they notified me before I arrived. they had several days to do so. 3. the people who work the front desk must be treated very poorly by their employer because they are some unhappy people. Seriously it should be fun at least part of the time to work with puppies and kittens. customers are treated like an uninvited guest at best and or a necessary evil. There are several other options in town and I'm happy I changed.
