I have been taking our pets to Camille at All Creatures Small for close to 30 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Camille is very thorough and super caring for our pets. Each time we've had to say goodbye to our pets, Camille cries with us. Love their remodel recently! Looks great and they have so much more room!

A year ago, lost an entire litter of puppies due to their incompetence and lack of care and knowledge. Fast forward until today. We used indianola vet clinic. Amazing experience . And I felt the need to leave this review based on the complete difference in care. All creatures small never even tested to see if our dog was ready for her c section —a simple blood tests. This was mandatory procedure at the vet today. All creatures small used staples on her stomach and
It resembled a hack job. This place used dissolving stitches and looks great. All creatures small didn’t give our dog a standard oxytocin shot to stimulate milk production for the babies and actually refused to do it for me when I asked—again this was standard at indianola vet clinic. Please save your animal. And do not take a chance with such incompetence.

I took my cat butternut here a few months ago for stomach issues he’s 22 years old and he always had stomach problems . They did senior blood work, fecal sample, checked his ears, and gave me a dewormer just Incase . All of this was $200. I thought it was a pretty good deal . Not sure how much blood work usually is though . The vet I seen was awesome super kind and cared for butternut. They didn’t quite figure out what was wrong with him but the worm medicine helped him I think a little . The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because my mom went here and got treated differently. Her dog had dental work done and her cat had a booster shot. They told her on the phone it was ok if she payed $200 . They failed to mention that visit wasn’t just going to be $200. It was $700. So they wouldn’t give her back the dog until she gave them her social security number and her credit card info and they were going to charge it monthly with a payment of $200 every month. My mom was really stressed cause she just put a dog down a few days before this and with corona virus she hasn’t had much money. The money on her card gets taken out by her landlord every month for rent so it really messed her up. She still intends to pay them but with cash. She ended up having to cancel her card because she would’ve lost her place to live if she payed this clinic that month. My mom’s a good person and she will pay you guys. She’s just very stressed recently and I really wish I was there with her when she went back to pick up her dog and cat .

The newly remodeled All Creatures Small is a fantastic space for your animal needs. Cleaner than a human hospital. The staff is committed to animal health. The doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate. The techs are well trained and experienced. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals.

Have been family vet for over a decade. Camille is great at what she does and is very understanding of situations. I could not stress enough, however, the clear lack of motivation Angelic and Karen have. My and myself went for a pre-surgery check up to evaluate what needed to be done, Angelic was trying to push me out of the room the second she walked in. I asked her to look over my dog and examine a bump on her shoulder, and without even looking at her or examining said "Its probably nothing." I insisted she look at the bump, and this could not have been more inconvenient for her. After each follow up question she kept walking to leave the room before abruptly stopping, giving a short answer, and then attempting to leave again. Her nurse Abby, however, was incredibly nice and was more than happy to sit down and give me answers, or find them for me. I had my dog spayed almost 2 months ago, Karen over charged me almost $100 which she would not fix until a nurse came to look at the bill and told her how wrong she was. Within 3 weeks of constant calling because of the lack of information given, I was told by Karen at the front desk that I would need to send pictures to their email to be reviewed to determine if my dog was needed back for additional care. Afterwards calling at least 5 more times within 2 weeks was told that, again by Karen, that if I sent an email, then they would notify me when they saw it. Calling again today, Libby answered and notified me very kindly that pictures for review were to be texted to their phone. Once reviewed, Angelic told me that they were never notified of emails to watch for and that I would have to pay again for my dog to be put under to fix her suture reaction, something I was never notified the risks of in the first place. After arguing and telling them I refused to pay anything else to fix their 2 months of mistakes I was finally told that they would do it at no extra charge, but they would be putting her under and would once again need another recovery time of 10 days. I swear if there was a way for Camille to be in 10 places at once, I'd take my dog every day if just to say hi, but with people like Angelic and Karen and their horrible attitudes and blatant lack of willingness to work with customers and pets. I'll be looking elsewhere for any future vet visits. It is shocking how two people can ruin one place with so many wonderful nurses and vet techs.

I took my rabbit here for some behavioral problems, they gave him a cheap and effective check-up! They were a little rough in restraining him for his examination but I don't blame them as he was very panicky for his visit. Gave me good advice and promised to email me with more information but never did.. the small animals doctor was great and the technician was very informative and sweet to my bunny, asking about his personality and gently letting him! but really wish I could have got that extra information but the staff seemed to really care

Seriously impressed with this vet clinic. Camille was determined to help us even though our pet’s case is confusing. She was thorough and I didn’t feel rushed when I kept asking her questions. Every employee I talked to on the phone- Ellie, Abby (I think), and Amy have huge hearts-you can just tell. They also gave us a price quote before going ahead with some things which is very appreciated, so you’re not surprised by the bill. They are very affordable. They even called a few days after our pets appt to check on her and how she’s doing. That right there is a caring, superb vet clinic. I feel very comfortable taking our pet back there. Thank you All Creatures Small.

I can't even begin to express my disappointment. we have been taking our dogs here for over 20 years. we just found out our dog has stomach cancer and we have to put her down. called for an appointment and they just "didn't have time to work her in". are you kidding me. we had to put our 16 yr old dog down last month and I know it takes 5 min. I do not recommend this vet. they are very happy to take your money but don't expect them to help you or your dog when you need it.

This used to be the place we boarded our dogs at. But we just boarded them for a week and a couple days I to the boarding they called saying our dog bear was limping and gave him medications we had noticed a slight limp in has left leg but that had been over a week before we boarded them and it was gone. We'll turns out the acl in both of his back legs were torn and to top it off they are both sock and they didn't even tell us that WHAT IS GOING ON THERE????? all I know is that they will never receive our business again

They used to be a great vet clinic. Now, they never answer their phone. It's time for me to look for a new vet.

Yesterday our poor boy was seizing and having trouble breathing, we called the office to see if they were open and that we had an emergency and our dog needed to be seen asap. They refused us because our dogs aren't normal patients with them. Told us they wouldn't help and to try somewhere else. He ended up passing away on our way to Des Moines. I am soooooo disappointed and hurt that a business, who's main job is to help animals, refused to help one who was in desperate need.I am not going to sit here and bash the company further, because for their normal patients they may be fine, but our experience and the cold uncaring treatment will forever stick with us....
