We have now 3 ShoreStation lifts. One is 25 years old and recently needed the cross beam replaced as the cables were starting to fray. No issues with that fact as it’s an old lift. However, their quality control lately is garbage. The cables in the pre strung cross beam were completely tangled allowing the new cables to rub and start fraying. We had to take the beam completely apart and unravel everything.A one time thing I can deal with but my brother just purchased a waverunner lift and it had the exact same problem, but was so bad the cable jumped off the pulley. Luckily, that was replaced under warranty.Time to take some pride in your work or figure out quality control.

I normally don't write reviews, but this one has me very frustrated. We purchased two ShoreStation lifts in 2019. A 6,000 lb for the boat and a 3,000 lb for a pair of SeaDoo's. We have had nothing but trouble with both units ever since they have been installed. Currently, I have had to trailer both SeaDoo's and the boat and put them in long term storage since neither lift is working at all. The smaller unit's cable has broken 3 times now and Shore Station has informed my dock company that it isn't covered under warranty even though the list a 15 year warranty on the cables. The boat lift starting making horrible noises, one side fell ripping off all the vinyl lettering on one side of my boat including the registration numbers and letters, and now the boat lift and rails are bent out of shape and can non longer be used safely. I have left messages directly with ShoreStation (Midwest Industries) and no none will return my calls. My local dock company can't get anywhere and I am stuck without the ability to use either lift/dock. After spending a ton of money on these so called hi-tech awesome lifts, I am more than frustrated. Absolute waste of money and nothing but trouble. I've read all the other "happy" reviews and I don't get it. I just need someone to call me back and help me get BOTH of my lifts working again. But for now, my best advice is to STAY AWAY!

I bought a new Shore Station pontoon lift in 2018. I was able to get my boat on it one time after having it installed at my lake house. The spring of 2019 brought hell and high water to my property at the lake. For the entire year of 2019, I was unable to access my property due to the flooding. Long story short, when I finally was able to get to my place, I was astonished to find my new boat lift in great condition (considering that it was under water for most of the last year). I pulled the covers from the motor assembly and after connecting a new battery, the drive motor was still operable. Outside of repairing a few electrical connections, I believe my lift will be back in service soon. This is a testament to the quality of workmanship that is provided from Midwest Industries Ida Grove. The staff has been very resourceful in response to any and all questions that I had. THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO IN MAKING A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN A ROUGH TIME!

Great company to deal with. Had some questions about trailer weight and adding brakes to the trailer. Spoke with Randy. He provided me with all the information I needed so that I can confidently purchase the boat/trailer combination I'm interested without exceeding my vehicles towing capacity. In today's world of overseas help desks and unknowledgeable customer service reps, this was a very welcome experience.
