BUD'S COMPLETE AUTO REPAIR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our son's 2007 Nissan Altima has been a great car—reliable, with 150,300 miles, and only needing minor upkeep to keep him going from point A to point B. A few weeks ago, we had the left caliper replaced, and the team at Bud's was amazing! Fast forward a few weeks, and we noticed another brake issue on the left side. It turned out to be a fluke, but after having our Nissan towed back to Bud's, the owner took my call on Monday morning, just 15 minutes after the shop opened. By that time, they had already diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary parts, and assured us that the repair would be covered under warranty.
Though the part in question might not have traditionally been covered under warranty, Bud's recognized that it had affected the previous work. They warrantied and replaced everything that had been impacted by the faulty piece, which was a huge relief!
I knew Bud's was different during my last visit for my husband's A/C repair. A gentleman came into the shop to buy lunch for the entire staff from a nice Huxley restaurant and even offered to buy me, a customer in the waiting area, lunch as well. He was so appreciative of the honest work that Dax, Tyler, and the entire team do. That man was a walking billboard for Bud's, and now I am too!
If you're tired of constantly spending money on car repairs only to have more problems crop up, choose Bud's. They know what they’re doing and stand behind their work and their people.
In 2024, when customer service feels like a thing of the past, Bud's is a breath of fresh air. They treat their customers with respect and fairness, which is hard to come by these days.

We were traveling from out of town and we had trouble with our truck. Buds got us in straight away and took care of all our needs. Great service

Have lived in the Hux for about 4 years now and never really thought about switching mechanics from when I lived in Ankeny, but two breakdowns on the Mercury brought me to Bud's recently and have had excellent service both times. Hopeful that I don't have to see their faces for a while but I feel good going back if I have to, lol. I did tow thru insurance but convenient they have their own wrecker too.

I brought my car in to be diagnosed at the beginning of December because the battery light kept coming on and it was making an odd noise. The next day I got a call saying my vehicle was done, which I was confused about because I had brought it in to find out what was wrong and told them to call me before doing anything. They told me my battery terminal was cracked so they replaced it. I picked it up and it seemed fine however about two weeks later the noise started again and the battery light started coming on periodically. Eventually it came on and then my car would not start again. Very disappointing that all I wanted was to know what was wrong with my car, they claimed they fixed it and yet I ended up in the same position, same problem, and no idea what is even wrong with it. I also noticed when I received my car back the check engine light was off, meaning the code had been cleared. I already knew the check engine light was on due to the coolant thermostat. They never mentioned to me that the thermostat was going bad and throwing a code which I was expecting they would mention since I knew it was. They simply cleared the code and said nothing. I feel as though they slapped a bandage on the problem and just sent me on my way rather than doing what I asked and diagnosing what the issue is.

After struggling with multiple dealership service departments, we started going to Bud's Auto Repair. They are super knowledgeable and reasonable priced! The most important part for me is that they take the time to explain exactly what's wrong with your vehicle!! Highly recommend!

Very knowledgeable staff and honest. Told me about an issue ton my truck and encouraged me to take it to the dealer since it was under warranty. They could have simply fixed the problem. I had no idea about the warranty, but they were honest and will keep my business.
