They wouldnt sell me a lighter without an id. place is unbelievably lazy. half the time i come i have to wait 5-10 minutes in line, but not because there’s a line oh no. it’s because the employees dont stay at their stations and wander the store talking to eachother and other customers

I asked the manager for more of an item, and it wasn’t on hand, but she said she would check around. The next time I came in, she had personally checked other neighbor DGs, and had found the item. She was keeping it behind the counter for me! That is rockstar service right there.

Omg. SHUT IT DOWN SHUT IT DOWNTHE ASSOCIATE IN FRONT OF ME SAID TO CASHIER AS SHE WAS LEAVING. I PROBABLY won't BE IN TOMORROW MY TEMP IS NOW 100 AND MY HUSBAND IS POSITIVE FOR COVID SO I KNOW I AM. I WAS NEXT TO CHECK OUT. THE CASHIER DIDNT EVEN CLEAN any of the things she touched.

Well the store was not busy at all they had somebody doing electronic work on the roof but the store was very clean the house were not cluttered everything was organized it was one cashier there and she helped me find some stuff that I can find since you stop what she's doing she leaves me to the store and we find what I need she was very humble very kind respectful and very considerate she was a superb employee for Dollar general she's an example for the rest

Some of the staff is excellent and a few are criminals. Spent well over 600 in a months time and got shorted 7 bags out of that. Wont go there ever again.
