“My husband is a truck driver and he bragged about the roasted chicken there he said it is so juicy and so tasty I told him the next time he to Iowa to please buy one for home (Alabama) and put it in his freezer on his truck and he did we unthawed it in the refrigerator and ate it the next day and I must say that is the best roasted chicken I've had and I can't wait till he ride through again and get another one or two ? so for my experience I'll give it a 10 star if I could great job guys”
“Needed to put air in my tire as it’s been leaking and will bring it to a shop. This place had a free air pump with a nozzle that worked well. Other gas stations just down the road are charging 75 or 50 cents.”

“A classic local convenience store. Open 24/7, patronage includes mostly working class people in their 20s-30s with no kids. Cashiers usually like to make small talk. They card, but they're usually pretty relaxed & don't grill anyone.”
“I've been in a handful of Kum and Go gas stations and this one is perhaps my all time favorite. It's clean, well stocked, and has very happy, friendly employees. I came through during RAGBRAI & Zeke and Adena took really great care of me this morning.”

“Stop by for breakfast on a cold raining day. The place is warm and bright, including smiling staff. We got a pork/chicken burrito, box of bagel dots, coffee and crackers. The burrito is amazing, and the bagel dots are freshly baked. Highly recommend!”

“What a gem!!!! Randomly stopped in for a gas station restroom and then walked into this magical cafe. Unfortunately it was after hours and they were closed, but there's a great play area and the ambience is wonderful. Next time we're driving through, we will stop by on purpose!”
“I also work at this Hy-Vee Gas and can confirm we do not have Krispy Kreme donuts. If you ever need help with the pumps, if you go to #5 or #6 there is an assistance button you can use to page us outside.”

“Kum & Go has a nice smartphone app for earning loyalty points, buying fuel, and making purchases for easy pickup at the counter. Their stores have a nice selection of food. The one in Coralville near I80 has 16 pumps, so it's unlikely you'll be waiting in line”
“A MUCH better experience at this Casey's location than the last one I reviewed. Pay at the pump was easy and quick, no trash laying around. Had to run inside to get my receipt - even though the guy at counter seemed busy, he was quick and friendly. He seemed accommodating to his co-worker's need for reassurance about something as well. Only thing that made it lose a star is that this location doesn't participate in the Upside app (cashback for gas station/restaurant purchases), like many other locations do.”

“Stopped to put air in my tire. I couldn't get the air to work. I asked one the employees. She was so nice, left her station and walked with me to my car to see why I was having trouble. D'oh, the big green button turns it on. But she was great. Also, nicely laid out convenience store, clean bathrooms and a Subway attached which you can access from inside.”

“I was really liking these wine coolers from Seagram's called Jamaican Me Happy and they usually only had four or five four packs at a time each week alls I did was talk to the awesome manager Barb and she made sure that they were more coming through the door the next order and I bought a case and I thought that was very wonderful for her to add that extra to accommodate me. Great job Barb

“Another great Iowa City Kum & Go store. Plenty of parking. Nicely stocked clean store. Friendly service. Use the app to get gas and use points to save money. Most of the other K&G stores are newly built or recently remodeled. Good selection of food, drinks, and other items.”
“A solid, upstanding gassing experience was had here, by me, on at least a few occasions. The petrol flowed smooth and true. Free air pump to get my tires feeling right. Happy psi, happy husband. They were out of Juul pods when I went inside? Gas stations can't run out of Juul pods. Juul pods are to me what gasoline is to my car.”

“Nice staff at this location. The store is very nice and clean. Although the store doesn’t sell pizza, they do sell other items for hot food like Popcorn chicken, breakfast croissants, and hashbrowns. The location is easy to get in and out of most of the time as I don’t really see anyone going there. When I was there (10/24/23 the Coca Cola truck was there). I hope this store continues to be a great stop for anyone heading south or north on 1st Ave.-Shy_Gun670”
