215$ cash for a tow and impound of less than 24hrs seems excessive. Also the cash only seems sketchy when they don’t even have an atm onsite. The lot is dirt so if it’s wet outside you will get muddy. Building is rundown but Serves a purpose I guess.

I called this company to jump my vehicle as I left a dome light on the night before! The truck is 4 years old and gets looked at regularly, but after trying to little jump packs and refusing to even attempt to jump it with cables the employee looked over at me and said “you must have a bad battery” after explaining that the truck was just recently in the shop and came back with no electrical issues, the employee was insistent that it was my vehicles vault! I called another local towing company and they had me jumped in 4-5 minutes! A couple of jumper cables was all she needed! Absolutely horrible customer service and even after not being able to jump my vehicle they offered to tow it (how convenient) and also informed me I was still going to owe them money for them not being able to help me in any way, which is not going to happen.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star.I was in an accident a week ago that totaled my car, so CRPD had my car towed by this company. The lady at the front desk is god-awful. I was rear-ended by another driver, lost a car that I valued very much, and was left with significant pain. The last thing that I needed to deal with was a crabby lady that treated me like I was the one in the wrong. CRPD needs to do business with someone else. Darrah's Towing & Recovery is a joke, and they deserve to go out of business. And the lady that runs the front desk deserves to be jobless until she learns how to treat people right. Sorry. Not sorry. ✌️

Scheduling the pick up was easy. They towed it sooner than they had even anticipated. They were able to fit me in even when recent weather conditions had made them super busy.

My car broke down Saturday and we spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with our insurance company’s road side assistance and the guy couldn’t find anyone to tow us. Granted it’s the worst weather ever and tons of cars and trucks needing tows. We finally hung up with our company and took matters into our own hands and called Darrahs, who we have used before. A real person answered the phone immediately and advised us to call back Monday morning.I called this morning at 7am, by 7:45 our car was on their trailer and headed to our service place of choice!!!!I will never use another towing service, Darrahs is the BEST!!

Absolutely wonderful! My son and I were stranded in the cold in CR, they came to try to give us a jump and when that didn't work towed us to a shop. The gentleman was very kind, had us both laughing, and even showed my son how the wench worked. Reasonable price and fast service. 10/10 recommend.

But the fleet of vehicles always on the go, Darrah's has been consistently helpful. Helpful at those times you'd rather not have to call them, lolI've worked with Darrah's from inside of a parking ramp to a roadside ditch. My vehicle's will always been treated respect and care

Get ready to be treated like a criminal the minute you walk in there. Our car was towed by police to this location. I was fully aware about their cost structure, and I went there 3 days later as my car was going to be towed to junkyard. I was not given the information that the owner (my mom) had to be present and show her ID to make a payment. So, I drove to her workplace and picked her up. When I came back, presented our credit card. "Oh by the way, we only take cash". I did not have that much cash on me at that time. So, I got frustrated and asked the lady, "why was this not communicated with me before?". The lady replies, "there is a sign posted right there on the side door". So, apparently, I should have read the sign, and it was my mistake that I didn't? Hmm...So, we had to go to a nearby bank to retrieve cash and came back the 3rd time. When receipt was given, I asked how the charge was calculated to which the reply was "oh, it's right there pointing finger at the amount and the writing that was barely readable".Overall, rude staff and lack of communication.

Great place yah I know it sucks having to go there & usually you're pissed but it's not their fault and as long as you don't treat them like it is they are awesome

Be prepared to wait hours, even if they tell you they have someone nearby on the way!

I have a job to do and I do it and they know they have to have attitude about what they do usually because people are going to get snippety on the car to get towed. It’s not Darrahs fault. when they have to do it. Oh, generally speaking, the fees are a little bit outrageous, but it’s whatever I’ll get your car towed. I can’t help it. Crpd pisses me off more than the tow people honestly

Absolutely horrid, they towed my moped when I almost died. Which I didn't give them permission too since the company I work for has tow trucks, trailers and would have stored my moped until I was able to speak and not hooked up to life support. I don't have photos cuz I'm not going to a place that wants me to pay almost 1k for what almost killed me so the photo is of my face when the hospital let me out and I could have called Corridor Motors, Menards, or any other ham radio licensed friend.
