We have taken our two dogs for grooming multiple times since moving to the area. They always do exactly as asked. No complaints. They also get the dogs in and out very timely unlike other places we took them before moving here.

My dogs know when we turn the corner that they are going to daycare and they get very excited. They love going here and I am happy with the way my dogs are treated while they are there.

We love taking our dogs here for both daycare and boarding. The staff is very friendly and our dogs always seem well taken care of and loved on. We love being able to check in on them via the webcams! Highly recommend!

We have regularly boarded our two big Irish Doodles at Cedar Run for several years. We also use their Day Care, bathing, and grooming services. We have consistently been delighted with all their services. The staff is friendly to us and caring to our dogs. The Webcams allow us to watch our dogs while they're at Cedar Run, which we love. The dogs are each in a pack all day (not kenneled most of the time, as some providers do), always very well supervised, and the premises are clean inside and out. We also receive a "Report Card" after each visit with pictures of our guys and commentary about their stay. We can't say enough good things about Cedar Run and very highly recommend them.

A bit pricy, but they take such good care of my three dogs. I love the report cards and the pictures the staff takes during boarding. They're great with matching dogs with the right play groups, and do a phenomenal job with my deaf canine, giving him the attention he needs and having his favorite toys for him to chase! The staff even got all three of my pups to play together, which doesn't happen often at home!

I live in Des Moines but needed to come to Cedar Rapids today because my father is in the hospital. I called this morning to see if by chance my little dog Bailey could stay with them today. They were so gracious and welcoming! Bailey spent the afternoon and when I tried to pay them, they said it was no charge! What lovely people!

Our 15 year old girl Maddie has been boarded at Cedar Run #1 many times over her life. We just picked her up tonight after a weekend stay. I’ve been feeling so guilty about boarding her because of her age. She can no longer hear and can see out of only 1 eye. She has definitely slowed down a lot. I have to say that she seems so happy and has so much more energy after her stay! The pictures in her report card look like she was having a great time. I am so happy with the care and love our sweet girl gets at Cedar Run. Thanks for all you do, and for being flexible! ???

Love the report cards they text to me after daycare. Has pictures of my dogs at play. They tell me who they hang out with during the day. And love I can jump on their Webcam and check on them throughout the day!!

LOVE this place! The facility is very clean and the staff is so sweet and helpful, you can tell they really enjoy their jobs. I have left my cat, Olivia, there twice now to board while I go out of town and they take great care of her! They send report cards and let her have time out of the kitty condo to stretch her legs, they even have a camera that can be accessed 24/7 in the cat room so I can check up on my fur baby anytime. I have never felt comfortable leaving my cat somewhere, afraid she would be traumatized by noise or neglect, but Cedar Run has completely squashed those doubts. For those looking to board your cat, this is a great place to go!
