This shelter is exceptional. Kennels are spotless & animals all seemed content. Staff does an excellent job of caring for the animals & are highly selective when adopting out.

This shelter doesn't really help animals. I tried to bring in a small kitten that followed my son home. We couldn't keep her permanently because one of our cats is vicious to any cat she doesn't know. They refused to take her and gave me a bunch of reasons (a vet must be present, long quarantine and I and on) nearly all of which were lies. So sorry such a nice facility is run by people who are, according to professional people in the know, not what they pretend to be. These supposed animal rescuers turned away an adorable, small, sweet kitten even though I am a regular donor. I was advised not to give to them again and I will take that advice.

They take care of the animals very well and spend lots of time with them. They make sure to the best of their ability that they also have good homes. Love this shelter!

They denied adoption without any phone call due to outdated and incorrect information. During the application process they also repeated incorrect information that was not on application. Playing God with animals in a way shows they believe they are the one true source of who and who cannot adopt an animal as well as who is trustworthy. Look elsewhere!

What a shame that this beautiful facility is not being used to the fullest of its potential because of a lack of leadership on the board and the wrong people being in charge. I myself have donated many hours of my time and many dollars believing that the problems within would be fixed but at this point I don't think that will ever change. How sad

The veterinarian is a frigid, self absorbed person who needs to take a refresher course on her people skills. The rest of the facility is clean and other staff seem to have good intent. P.s. It isn’t that I was denied. There girl I talked to Saturday said it was between to pups that were left on if she was taken or not. That’s fine. Its your rules. I fell in love with the puppy when I unexpectedly stopped in on a Saturday and had already had my papered (under 2 year old) dog scheduled for her spaying (which i disclosed in the application and why I am fine with you contacting my vet. I mean I gave you the information didn’t I?) I wasn’t planing on getting a dog from your facility to begin with, but the sweet dog melted my heart I’m sure you have never had something like that happen unplanned. (sarcasm) The point I am making is that there were zero people skills. The emails I received in my opinion were quite Rude and uncalled for. People Skills. Still.
