Jared told me he could get to our truck on Thursday of the following week for an oil leak and what we were told was a blown head gasket from another mechanic, as well as an issue with the breaks. He let our truck sit in his shop for 3 weeks prior to working on it. Didn’t fix the oil leak. He did fix a coolant leak and bled the air off the brakes. But, I explained more than once that I needed that truck ready to pull our 41 ft fifth wheel. We travel for work. He charged us almost $900 (4 weeks of car rental as well) and I am still leaking lots of oil. We added a GALLON (not a quart of oil) after returning from the holidays. All of the oil was in our driveway. After speaking to Jared today with him telling me we never discussed the oil leak, and him hanging up on me I felt the need to leave this review. I couldn’t be more disappointed with the service we paid for and didn’t receive. He either didn’t listen to me, or didn’t read the note I attached to my keys or just didn’t care. There were multiple gallons of oil inside the truck as well as what he told me was the wrong part to fix the breaks. We tried to be good customers. He received a complete payment for a half done repair. He claims I never mentioned the oil leak....what kind of a mechanic would not address the oil leak of this magnitude or any other issue in a vehicle they were being paid to repair. After collecting payment and four weeks of sitting on my truck, he did tell me that there was a bit of a leak from the oil plug that a new O ring would fix. (Why he couldn’t do that in the 4 weeks he had the truck...) So, we then paid a third mechanic an additional $200 for an oil change plus bought a new oil plug. The oil continues to pool under the truck today. So, along with his poor attitude and poor time management, Jared also seems to have poor mechanic skills. This was a huge waste of valuable time, money and aggravation. Buyer beware.
