The Best grocer in Grinnell. Mac's is where it's at.

Overpriced mom & pop grocer in a mid-sized town. Its a nice looking small grocery store, but they charge 25-50% than what you can get 2.5 miles away at Walmart.

McNally's is a staple in Grinnell. A beautiful building, great selection of goods, coffee, deli. And did I mention the people? Always friendly and helpful. I think Randy is looking down with pride, thanks to Julie and her team. Thank you!

Very over priced some things are 75% higher than at Walmart and 25-50% higher than Hy-Vee or fairway

The only thing my family misses about Grinnell was the pleasure of living across the street from McNally's foods. The staff are a delight, they always seem to have what we need and then we discover new delights here. Try your best to ignore the heinous mural on the outside. The inside is charming.

Grinnell's historic downtown grocery still fills the bill. Good selection of groceries for a small supermarket and an unusually good beer selection. Great historic photographs, and old delivery truck, and a friendly staff.

Grinnell only has a couple places you can eat at for lunch quickly. With only a 30 min lunch break McNally's can get you in and out before your boss starts tapping his foot. Wednesdays are ham balls and Fridays the salmon is top choice. The "upper class" atmosphere makes even my low class factory workers and I give two pinkies out for approval at lunchtime. I'm sure if you are a doctor at the hospital or a spoiled collage brat, it's the only place you would get your groceries.
