Don't ever use any service that they contract out. I gave them the only copy of the vhs home videos of my deceased younger brother, and they proceeded to lose them, tell me they didn't offer the service, find them in a bag in the back a month later, then convert them into the wrong format, and expect me to pay full price for the service. The employees legitimately did everything they could, but they are bound by Walmart corporate, who are the real money grubbing scum here.

I am so sick of the employees here, they all stand around and do nothing. No cashiers today so I went to self checkout and had an employee stand behind me the whole time to make sure I scanned everything. I am not a thief, nor ever have been one. Get off my butt or tell one of your 13 employees(I counted how many were standing by the doors and ends of the checkouts) standing around to hop on a register. Being treated this way makes me not want to come back and I will not. There’s 100s of other grocery stores and a lot have just as good of prices as Walmart now a days. Not worth coming here to be treated like a thief! This is why I like target and Whole Foods, I never get treated this way at either?♂️EDIT. It also appears most of the recent reviews are low and ALL that I read were do to lazy and disrespectful staff. Seems like a management issue, I’ve lived in the metro for 15 years and this used to be the nicest and most respected Walmart around. We would travel from ankeny to here if we needed to go to Walmart because this one WAS nicer, sad to see what management has allowed.

If walmart says they can tell if you go through self check and don't ring everything up. We'll I wish they could tell if you rang the same thing up twice. No... I had to go to customer service. 3 days after Christmas and they have 1 girl working at that counter that doesn't know her job. There were 14 people in front of me and I stood there for 25 min while she stared out at people walking by hoping some one would help her with the first customer that was still standing there with no help..I decided to leave. I will just eat that 9.97overruns. The next person that goes theough and doesn'tring up a 10.00 item, well thats on me. Enjoy.

Very poor customer service. Employees didn't want to help in any way, let alone talk to us. Several items we shopped for were out of stock. Horrible shopping experience. Won't be back.

Dear Walmart, be human, not a machine. If I can order online on a rollback price and pick it up in store in 3 hours, then you can give me that price In Store with the item in my hand and save your staff the labor of picking and filling an order. Not matching online rollback pricing for an Item that is available same day in store while I am currently at the store with the item in my hand is insane. Or would you rather incur the cost of shipping it too? You just lost a customer over a $10 item and wasted my time and fuel.Figure out life, I'll go to Target, they price match in store!And I did go talk to customer service and they let me walk, told me to come back at my appointed pick up time. I Cancelled my order.

I would give 0 star if google would let me. I called to ask for Nutrimagen baby formula on 12.6 oz cans before I drive there. Since we always had issues with OH when checked online and got to the store. Store answered and I asked if somebody would check and make sure if they have it before I get there. The girl on the phone straight up said “no we are busy, we don’t have anybody to check” in a very rude manner. Walmart always bluff about great customer service. If you can’t even do this, how do you think about excellent customer service?

Checkered did not even act like she knew what he was doing and pretty much made me do everything myself including sucking my own groceries and I was in a handicap scooter on top of everything else

Went in this morning. I wanted a body fragrance which cost $6 and was in a locked cabinet. Asked an associate if she could help me. She said she would call someone. Waited 10 minutes. Asked another associate. Waited 5 more minutes. Called the store on my phone while waiting. Heard them announce to send someone. Waited and asked a northern associate. FINALLY after 20 minutes someone with keys shows up. Stated he was outside and had to come in to unlock the keys to this cabinet from some office. All for $6 fragrance. No apology at all. Acted like he was put by having to do this. Then at self check, the hand held scanner didn't work. 3 associates standing in a group by self check. I state "this isn't working." Response from associate "yeah." Doesn't offer to help at all just goes back to talking. Believe me, if I could rate you lower....I would. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Mindy at customer service desk needs be to be trained on how to do her job. A person who stares you up and down and talks down to you should not be in that position.

Very limited stock actually. Will probably make the drive to a Des Moines location the next time for more variety. It's too bad as this store is usually cleaner than most.

Went to take my Walmart cans back today. They have four machines but only one is for cans. Bin was full. I went to ask associate to come empty bin twice. Waited 20 minutes before leaving. Walmart, Please consider keeping these maintained on a regular basis and maybe adding another can bin.

So after having trouble with 2 Walmarts. I had called the se 14th Walmart and there was confusion with when they’d be putting out their Halloween inventory/ what was out. I had spoken with 2 associates the night before. They said the inflatable I wanted was on the shelf and in stock then when I went there they said it might have been sold or hadn’t been put out yet. They said they couldn’t do holds. I talked to 6 different people in two days and gotten different answers. Then I tried ankeny, they had said there weren’t many people out on the floor to look at the inventory. I then tried grimes. The associate went right away to the location of the item and said she put it up at customer service for me. Thank you

The associates here do not know thier policies for Walmart. They never have thier electric wheelchairs charged. They allow teenagers and young adults to use them to run around the store wrecking havoc, not buying anything. The associates are rude, mouthy, vulgar and Lazy. When asked for the manager they said no and walked away from me. I was upset. I will never shop this store again. My business has gone to another Walmart and Target and Hy-vee.
