They don’t contact you, or the doctor if they don’t have the medicine. You walk in and then find out they don’t have your prescription filled. If they don’t have your prescription then have to contact your provider to get a new prescription written somewhere else.

Will never come here again, poor customer service and nothing is ever ready for pickup. They don’t fill prescriptions from a doctor office until you show up, then you have to wait even more for them to count pills. Medicap is so much better here in grimes.

The people are nice but they are overwhelmed and cannot fill prescriptions in a timely fashion. Needed pain medication for my daughter after surgery and they left it on hold for hours so that she missed her dose. Even worse I wait and then after nearly an hour find out that it is on back order.

Great big very nice store with everything you could want maybe if you can find it. No one knows where anything is, they just keep pointing you to go talk to someone else. Stood by the deli case waiting and waiting with 5 employees cleaning, no one would help so figured they must have just closed. Walked away and 5 min later walked by still looking for my item and they were cutting deli meat for a customer. Had to drive down the road to Walmart to get what I needed for the holiday party.

The bakery at the NE Gateway Drive in Grimes made my 3 year old grandson an AMAZING birthday cake. We wanted the Paw Patrol theme and she adapted it to a round shaped cake. She was was very creative in designing it. Very happy with the cake and highly recommend visiting their bakery.

There isnt one HyVee that I go to where prices dont ring up as noted on the shelves or websites. I have to proof my receipt each time then waste time of your store clerks and customer service clerks to make right. This is frustrating. This never happens at Fareway or Publix. HyVee needs to get their act together if they really want to be a "big boy".

I give them 3 stars due to all the bath and body stuff they don't need to sell along with clothes and shoes‼‼Just do the food, flowers and pharmacy‼And then do those 3 things well ‼Also please offer one frozen gluten free frozen pie.

Overall I like the Grimes HyVee Pharmacy. I transfered from the one on 51st in west DM which is an awesome pharmacy, but Grimes was closer for me. I do not Like the drive thru containers Its hard as he'll to get them in and out of those black holders. Whoever designed those was nuts. It does irk me sometimes when I get the txt it's ready and I go and have to wait another 15 - 20 minutes cuz it's not ready when I arrive to pick it up...

Same old song and dance here. Call in day before give them over a day to fill prescription but it is never ready. I get that they are super busy but I’m with others who mention giving me a more accurate time then so I don’t have to wait. Might be time for a change.

Keeps saying they can’t get my medicine in stock right now so they gave me the wrong medication and charged me double for it.

Kind of interesting that the customer "service" counter closes at 8 when you should be able to purchase a lottery ticket until 8:59.

DO NOT order through aisles online here. An option on the app is making sure you are contacted about substitutions and out of stock items. They WILL NOT do this! They will complete your order with several items missing without ever contacting you. I have ordered through aisles online here several times, and every single time, my order is incomplete and I end up having to go inside to buy the items they did not contact me about. I have given them several surveys and calls about this and nothing has changed. It's better to just go inside yourself because they will not complete your order correctly.

I drove nearly 1 hour to go to this Hy-Vee. Good selection and prices; however, I was overcharged by $10-$11 for ASPARAGUS! As soon as I realized it (after I got home and was putting food away), I sent them a message with photos showing I was overcharged. Approximately 2 days later I received a response where they said they would refund me the $10 and how did I want my refund. I replied and explained that I lived an hour away and wasn't sure when I would be back in their store and asked the best way for them to refund me. I never heard back. I messaged them again and got no response and it's been over a month and they have completely ignored me and kept my money. I spent well over $200 during that trip and apparently they don't care that they've already lost a new customer.
