This store has been closed everytime I have tried to stop recently. I called ahead this time to ask their hours before I went out of my way and the employee stated they were open until 9 pm. I just arrived before 8 pm. Sign on door said hours until 9 pm. Plenty of other customers were inside when I enter. Went down a couple aisles but was alright my employee who told they are closing and that I had to leave. Will not be back.

I bought a pack of 2 retractable gel pens. Neither pen work. It’s as if they have the wrong ink cartridge in them. I can’t write with them unless I tape the end so the ink cartridge tip stays out. There not worth the $1, I paid!!!!

Went to Grimes Dollar Tree. The selection here is better than Waukee's. No waiting at check out and friendly cashier. What more could you want.

I love dollar tree… I can go to the one in Perry, Boone, and Ankeny. None of them have reduced hours. Now I get that staffing may be harder in Grimes however it’s ridiculous! I drove there last week to find out they didn’t open until 11. I drove back this week got there at 11 to see a lady literally being a sign out that said hours 1-6! I drove there yesterday after one and again closed!!

Hours never match, says open on here but then you drive there and there is a sign on the door saying closed, or says open at a specific time and then no one is there to unlock the doors. Waste of gas to drive there only for it to be closed.
