Rory at Thoma cares about his guests. He prepares a meal like you are his family. The breakfast we had was outstanding. This is an experience you need to enjoy.

I took a Friend of mine there. It was her first time. We waited a bit to be acknowledged. Then the food and service was good. Love this little restaurant.

The All American! Menu says 2 eggs (I got 3), hash browns, I chose ham(at least 1/2” thick; covers half the plate! Other meal was hand made sausage pattie. Looks like a quarter pound patty! Everything delicious! Owner so friendly, server, Marilyn was so sweet and thorough ❣️great little cozy hometown cafe!

I've lived in Texas, Iowa, and Arizona, and have been to 47 of the states in the U.S., and across the entire country, this place literally has the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had.

Wonderful small town stepping back in time cafe. I really like finding cafe like that. Great history read on history of cafe. It was a farm family needing to diversify. be back in the 20s and 30s.

This place feels like the bar from Cheers. Everybody knows your name, & if they dont they will give you one. Serving sizes are crazy big. The sausage is great. & you can get a chocolate milkshake for brealfast if you want to. Come early for the morning coffee clutch shenanigans. You wont regret it.

Breakfast here is what breakfast at Perkins was told it could be when it grew up, until breakfast at Perkins fell in with the wrong crowd and its grades dropped and it had to settle for community college but couldn't pass calculus after three tries and so it dropped out and works as a CNA to pay the rent and as a night cashier at the Kwiky-mart for drinking money, while breakfast at Thoma's became an astronaut. It's out of this world.
