It's so nice to go grocery shopping at the fort madison ia store load groceries for 45 minutes or so go to check our and no cashiers just self check out higher prices and have to shop and do my own checkout so I left all groceries sitting and went to Walmart and Keokuk ia they can do something and put it all back before it goes bad and never seen a helpful smile in any isle !

Our order was completely misplaced at the breakfast kitchen, after inquiring about it 30 minutes later and noticing that 5 other tables had been served ahead of us. Was then told it would be another 10 minutes. There was also another gentleman a couple orders ahead of me whose order was also misplaced. Mind you, this place was not busy at the time we had come in. The fact that I asked for my money back seemed to be an inconvenience to them and was rude. Zero stars.

Back in December I blew my radiator, water pump and thermostat in their parking lot. The staff was awesome, it was freezing outside and they offered me a small free coffee to keep warm, they helped me call different truck services and look for anyone who could help. Amazing, just absolutely amazing of them. Due to Hy-Vee's "above and beyond" customer service, it's the only place I buy gas and groceries now.
