If I could I would give 0 stars. This place is so unprofessional. From the beginning of the start. They made us pay for a month we weren't even in Iowa yet. Then let someone steal from us, the maintenance man let them in!!!! Didn't let me know for 3 days I was broken into! Had to make the police report, and now they aren't doing anything for me with my stuff I got robbed!

I had my storage "room" for around six years and never had a problem. I'm sure I gave All-Purpose Storage plenty of problems but that wasn't MY problem ;-). If you need to store anything in the Fort Dodge, IA, area, this is a great place to think about.

My business was done with Kathleen. I have never found a kinder more professional person in any company as understanding as this woman if l could give her 100 stars l would not hesitate! I would also like to mention the maintenance man on sight. I did not catch his name but he also deserves 100 stars!! He was very helpful when we arrived at our unit and as we were cleaning it the following day l noticed he was driving through the compound checking and making sure everything was well .The gate may be broken but security is still in tact with this young man doing his job above and beyond. Not only does he keep the grounds clean he is also looking out for the units.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! The security gate has been down for MONTHS and they have not discounted the rent at all. I got a text yesterday saying my unit was missing a lock so their inspector put an overlock on it. Why is my unit missing a lock when I KNOW I had a lock on it?? because a majority of units were broken into! I had to pay for a new lock in order to find out that I was missing my belongings out of my unit and was left a mess by whoever broke into it. There were overlocks on almost every unit when I went to put my new lock on. Customer service has been terrible. None of my questions have been answered and they will not admit to anything. An actual joke of a company.

If I could leave a negative 100, these ppl that run this storage place deserve it. We moved into our 2 units in October, the secure code gate was broken in November, not only have they not fixed the issue but they raised everyone’s rent, we moved our belongings out after so many storages have been broken into repeatedly, we still had 2 wks left paid in full and they locked our units and refused to pay us for those 2 wks. They do not care about their customers all they care about is stealing your money and watching you get robbed!!
DO NOT RENT from these CROOKS.

Gate has been broken for months. Have called numerous times to discuss and have been being told that “we are aware and are trying to get it fixed”-for months now… Rented a secure storage unit and now there is zero security. You would think they would be more concerned about securing their facility BEFORE they decided to raise the rent. They should be giving a discount for subpar services rather than adding to the rent.
Totally unprofessional. If you are looking for a secure storage this is NOT the place.

Overpriced and unsecured.
