115 N Main St Suite 15, Fairfield“I don't know what other people were thinking that didn't give this place five stars. First of all I think it's wonderful that it was quiet and didn't feel like a hotel. Secondly, it was cleaner than any national brand hotel I've ever been in. Thirdly it reminded me of my apartment in Boston. Very sweet atmosphere. Comfortable beds. Wonderful stay!”
“This hotel is located in Fairfield, Iowa in the middle of the corn fields. It is extremely well taken care of and clean. When I arrived, I rang the phone at the front desk and was provided with a room quickly. The room was well appointed with two queen beds, a mini fridge and a microwave. I found the bed to be a bit firm and the water pressure was very low in the shower. The window had a beautiful view but of a rural area and watched as a farmer was brushing his horses. The breakfast was questionable in my opinion, and I really didn’t partake in it too much. The eggs were a overcooked, and the lady that was servicing did not seem to acknowledge any of the customers. The hotel is nice, but it would be nice to see a little more hospitality from the staff. That’s my reason for providing four stars.
Rooms: I had a double queen room with a fairly large bathroom. My only concern was that the shower had very low water pressure.”
