I would give zero stars but I don’t have that option…I moved to the area two years ago, saw a yard sign and gave this business my money…“SIMPLY GREEN”I prepaid this year $400…(Trusting Chad to take care of me)I’ve consistently had weeds…dandelions…clover…and sadly some of the same basic issues that you get with the larger companies like Trugreen.I thought Chad was different, and his small business cared more and had a personal touch…but unfortunately, their own professionalism and family associations, did not facilitate a professional working relationship.Service + product = money paidI put a pool in and asked for a small refund, because my square footage of my yard had decreased l ; I was told it was only worth a dollar, yes $1?!.?I was “simply” looking for some customer service, a small refund, and they could have continued about their business - since they already had my $400…Easy right?WRONG!?Chad got offended, he is the owner, his wife miss quoted me, and his son made a billing mistake; none of which are MY PROBLEM…* I do not care who his employees are just that they service my yard professionally…Chad chose to end our business relationship today…and I’m choosing to let all of you know that sometimes with small companies, they lack that professionalism because it’s just business…and when it’s my $400 it’s my $400!!!??????????My neighbors yard is greener and it has less weeds l, and Chad got offended when I asked them if they did anything better than Trugreen… because I wasn’t seeing it for my money - I didn’t even get a response?!.(BTW-they won’t call you and talk to you they’ll just send you nasty text messages)Shameful professionalism!Took it personal!It’s my money!!!It’s their JOB!!!I’m waiting on a refund($)in the mail, so I do not have to contact my attorney?!.(this is why you should NEVER pay upfront for services not rendered)“Simply Green” is anything but simple…Hey Chad…you didn’t really live up to the motto that’s posted on your website now did you?!.(that’s called false advertising)#teacher

Very unsatisfied with the mowing and was brought to their attention and nothing done about it ...sending a certified check for the few times they mowed and never recommend using them ..poor customer serviceService: Lawn mowing & maintenance

I can't say enough great things about Chad at Simply Green Lawn Care. I reached out to him (at the very last minute) about putting down a LOT of mulch and rock in my yard, and he was super responsive and professional. I let him know that I had house photos scheduled later that week in preparation for listing it for sale. I had just spent the previous three months running in circles trying to get companies to return my calls, so I was blown away when Chad stopped by later that same day to talk through what I needed. He made it clear to me that customer service was important to him, and that he'd be able to get my yard looking great in time for the photos. He and his crew showed up on time and did a FANTASTIC job. In fact, Chad even showed up and worked while it was snowing just to ensure he'd have all the mulch and rock laid in time for our photos. I have never received such amazing customer service from a landscaping business. Chad and his team at Simply Green clearly have a passion for the work they do, and they go the extra mile to ensure that their customers are satisfied.Services: Yard work

It’s really unfortunate that I have to leave this poor review. We used Chad’s services for years and I’m honestly surprised at how we have been treated at the end of our need for using his company. Our family moved over the summer and ahead of time I contacted Chad informing him we were moving and would like a refund for our prepaid services for the entire season. He said he would send a check out that Sunday to us no problem. Fast forward to 3 months later and several calls and texts messages to him and still nothing. I even texted him our new address to send the check directly to us instead of having it forwarded, which he said he got, and still nothing. I have yet to get our promised refund check. He always says he will get it done but nothing happens. It doesn’t matter how good the lawn care services are if you can’t get refunded for services that were never performed. At this point I would NEVER recommend his company to anyone I know.Service: Weed control

Our neighbors have a gorgeous lawn and when we asked what their lawn care regimen was, we were given Chad's number. We've lived in our home three years now and have never been able to fully tackle the sporadic weeds and patchy looking lawn... enter Simply Green and Chad. After just the first treatment, we were so impressed with our lawn and even neighbors and family were commenting how great it looked! We are grateful for the services Simply Green provides and would highly recommend!

I would recommend Simply Green Lawn & Tree Care to anyone who loves a green lawn! I have always received great service and love how my lawn looks. Before treatments my grass was yellow and so dry that it hurt to walk on but now its soft and green. I can visibly see the difference between my lawn and my neighbors (who uses a local competitor).

Wonderful company to work with....hired him last year and I called on him again this Spring to get our yard back in shape. Kind, clean and friendly!...nice guy to chat with and he's very knowledgable. Price is comparable to others and he's a smaller business and that's what I like. I recommend their work!

We have called to set up appointments. We were told that someone would be here within a week. No one ever shows up or calls or emails. We have gone with someone else. This is no way to manage a business. Very disappointed would not ever recommend.

On Friday, May 23rd 2018 I called Chad because my garden “clean up” and mulching had not been completed in over a month. Chad had written down my service bill on April 17th 2018 he would be back the “next week or so” to finish the job. So when I asked Chad when his team would complete the work he said “no one wanted to work over the Memorial weekend” (which I understood, but I asked then WHEN? chad told me the guys would come out on Tuesday, May 29th. Great-Finally, I thought. On Tuesday morning I texted Chad to find out what time the guys would be coming. Chad said it would be sometime in the afternoon and that he would call 30 minutes before they come. Still, great... but in less than an hour Chad called me to tell him his crew did not want to work in the heat. He said he would come over and do the job. I told him there were some weeds that needed to be pulled before placing the mulch in. chad remarked that it was never in the paperwork (contract) that he would pull the weeds. I now was mad. I did not understanding how cleaning up a garden did not include getting rid of the weeds. Chad had sprayed for weeds and I had paid an additional $100.00 which was not in the contract because it seemed right to do. So, apparently getting rid of the weeds was important. Chad also mentioned that when he first came out he did not see as many weeds... I agree...but he waited so long to finish the job the weeds continued to grow or new ones popped up. Chad then remarked, that I expected him to work for free— NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER THAN THE TRUTH. He bid the job and I paid the entire amount of $1,233.60. Additionally, as mentioned before, I paid him an additional $100.00 for his spraying. I was hoping Chad would do a good job but sadly he did not. I told Chad not to worry he did not have to do anything more because we no longer want his service. I told him to pick up the bags of mulch that had been laying around our house for over a month and he said he would have to get another truck. Then Chad called and said he would not since he had gotten the mulch specifically for our job and He had noticed I had used 2 bags. He’s right I got so tired of him not coming or calling That I DID HIS work and put mulch in my lavender bed. I DID work that I had paid him to do. Potential customers BEWARE make sure it is completely understood the details of the work to be performed before hiring Chad (SIMPLY GREEN). NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THINK THAT CHAD IS GOING TO COMPLETE THE JOB OR THAT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS RELEVANT TO CHAD. NEVER, NEVER, PAY ALL AT ONCE - EVEN IF THERE IS A LITTLE DISCOUNT BECAUSE I BELIEVE ONCE CHAD HAS YOUR MONEY HE IS IN NO HURRY TO COMPLETE THE WORK.

We have used Simply Green Lawn Care for 6 years. We are very happy with our lawn. It’s plush, green and healthy. We receive many compliments on it. Chad is pleasant to work with and responds quickly to any concerns or questions. I would highly recommend Simply Green!

When it comes to your lawn, we want only the best. Simply Green has been professional, easy to work with, honest (unlike many), and very courteous. Their results are incredible and they're always timely. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
