In an age where everything is automated and nothing is personal, Silker’s General Store is a welcome exception. Everyone was so kind and willing to help, and when I needed a product they did not have, the owner went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed.

Awesome little grocery/general/hardware store. Amazing meat counter that multiple local restaurants depend on for the meats. The employees are always very helpful and friendly. Great deli products like freshly made pasta salads, potato salad, etc. A few heat&eat items and basically anything you need quick and don't want to drive far to get.

Very kind folks running this store in Epworth Iowa. It's a pretty small store but it's very reasonable for getting last minute items. Very good meat counter, very reasonable prices for what you get.
