Both of my parents moved to stonehill a year ago, my dad passed away about 6 months after moving in. The staff there were so supportive and helpful to me and my family, but exceptionally supportive to my mom! Tamisha or (Tammy) as my dad called her, was exceptional with the hearfelt attention she gave my dad. Sheila VanGordon, the social worker was unbelievably helpful, and continues to help me with everything! I want to thank all the staff for all their kindness and exceptional care.

Let's just say diversity and inclusion isn't something they strive for...Edit: The HR lady was passive aggressive, not accommodating and gave off an attitude that almost read "I have to deal with this person". Wild. Crazy. Insane experience.

Staff is not accommodating for treadmill pool patrons. I was alone in the pool and staff would not set the speed where I needed it to be to get the heart rate that I needed. They have a rigid rule of only setting the speed at whole numbers and half numbers, nothing in between. Depending on where water level is set, this makes a significant difference in heart rate........to the tune of 30 beats per minute for me which is the difference between warm up zone and aerobic zone for me.Don't waste your time going if you are looking for a specific heart rate in the pool. This is just crazy because I was the only one in the pool. Staff refused to come back in a few minutes to check on me When I asked them to possibly come back in and adjust the speed for me. It's not like they were busy at the time at the desk anyway. It was a very slow time at the gym.

My grandmother was treated with disrespect and with absolute undignified behavior. She “asked to go to the bathroom too often” and was left to sit on the toilet for over a half hour on multiple occasions with a broken pelvis. Calling and speaking with the director only worsened the behavior. The employees at Stonehill should be ashamed of their abhorrent behavior. My grandmother spent her final days in fear of asking for basic necessities and even cried to me on the phone. I cannot go back in time and change her placement, however I would warn those seeking care of a loved one to steer far clear of such an awful place.

Great place for rehab, occupational therapy and physical therapy. Lots of socializing or solitude if you want. Not the quietest place at night but it might depend on where you are. Most of the staff is doing a good job.

My Father-in-law spent 3-4 weeks at Stone Hill's Care Center. It is a nice facility and his care was good. They need to expand and improve their whole dining experience though--from the line back up of diabetic patients required to have insulin before dinner, to the time it takes to be waited on and for dinner to arrive. This was the biggest issue and caused a lot of undue stress that could have health ramifications when sugar levels are involved. Otherwise recommended. The nurses and CNAs were great.

I am in the skilled household on First floor here at Stonehill and love it! This is the way all nursing homes should be. Therapy is going better than expected and the Cna's, cooks and Nurses are great!

I recommend Stonehill to anyone! It is a very welcoming environment and the staff is always friendly and ready to help! The connection you gain with the residents is so rewarding. The staff goes out of their way to know you by name. The residents I work with have become family which makes Stonehill a truly special place to work.
