So grateful to have this amazing small business in our community. Planted has such large collection of both rare and common plants. The knowledge and service of the staff is top notch and every time I visit they are so friendly. The owner Laura is well educated and brings so much to the plant community with a wide variety of workshops. I recently attended a moss art workshop and it was such a great experience, Laura also worked with me to create a build your own terrarium workshop for a birthday party. In addition Planted shows a ton of support to local artists and is a cultural hub in the neighborhood.

Absolutely wonderful shop! My mother and I buy plants for our bearded dragon here and the staff are always super helpful! It's complete with wonderful cozy vibes, a wide variety of plants (for both beginners and pros), and my personal favorite part: a lovely sticker collection. Their plants are well labeled, and fairly priced. While some may argue that the prices are too much, you pay for what you get and what you get here is top quality plants (and stickers). Not to mention the staff here are absolutely wonderful and always extremely helpful whenever I stop in. If I could give more stars I absolutely would. Beautiful store and beautiful plants ??

my go to for plants ALWAYS, all the staff are super friendly and helpful, if they don’t know an answer they will find an answer. my plants have never had pests and have all been healthy. support small businesses!!!

Love stumbling into this place when I'm visiting Dubuque and embarking on a real beer heater. The vibe is welcoming, the staff more than helpful, and the variety of plants incredible. Their IPAs are so-so, but their Rauchbiers are tops. Five out of five stars. Cheers to this place.

Delightful shop in a gorgeous area of historic downtown. Amazing local artwork showcased on the walls, great selection of plants and a completely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

I bought a begonia from this place two years ago and with advice from the owner it is now the largest and happiest plant in my house. Lots of flowers and six feet and counting! I recently called in and asked advice about some other plants in my house that are struggling, and even though I didn’t purchase them from there, she was generous with her time and gave me invaluable tips that have turned the health of these plants around. I now live out of town but would make the trip to buy from Planted any day.

One of the best plant stores I have ever been in. Laura, the owner (I think) is awesome and so generous with her knowledge. The selection is peerless and the rest of the staff are wonderful! Their special events and classes are also stellar! Do yourself a favor if you are a plant enthusiast and declare your loyalty to Planted!

Passionate and extremely knowledgeable staff!! After reviewing some pictures and asking a few questions they were able to diagnose and give advice on how to revive my current struggling plants. They also were amazing in helping me find some better plant options for the different spaces in my home. Love this little shop and warm staff, will be coming back here!!

I was very upset when I received two dead plants on separate occasions. I've heard about them before, so I decided to give them a second chance, but was just as disappointed as the first time. They are greedy and money hungry and they aren't willing to work with you. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

Laura is amazing at what she does! Her shop always has great finds that you can’t easily get anywhere else! She’s also great at giving plant care advice! AND the moss walls that she makes are chefs kiss. Go here for all your plant stuff!!
