I just left feeling the Dr was very rude and arrogant! I found myself asking "What just happened?" I made an appointment for a cat nail trim. This is the 3rd time I've been here for a trim, no problem. I arrive, get a room, Dr Neumeister comes in, takes her out of her carrier, weighs her. Then she asked why I don't take her to her regular vet in Farley/Dyersville. I replied, "it's too far just for that". She replied, "it's, not cost effective for us, you'll have to take her there". I replied, " I will the next time". Then she walks out. No nails trimmed! It's a 5 minute job for $20.00. She said she only wants to do it for regular clients. Instead of wasting my time, they should of called and cancelled the appt before I went through the stress of catching her and getting her in the carrier! I won't recommend her to anyone! Nor would I change vets and come to her. Horrible customer service! If I could of given her 0 stars, I would have.

If could give zero stars, I would, but yelp would not allow. My mother had an extremely poor experience here recently and I feel compelled to warn others. She has taken her cat here to get a nail trim 3x prior as it is very difficult and dangerous for her to try and cut the cats nails by herself. She showed up with her cat for her appointment today and Dr. Neumeister told her that it's not cost effective for her to bring the cat in only for a nail trim and she needs to take her somewhere else. She proceeded to leave the room after her statement and my mother had to ask the receptionist what just happened. She was informed the doctor was refusing to clip the cats nails and she would need to leave. I'm extremely disappointed with how the doctor treated her. My mother even asked if she could do the nails today and she would not come back again after that, no. She was refused service again. It is stressful to the cat and my mom to get to the vet in the first place. If they arent going to provide the service, why did they even accept the appointment? Dr. Neumeister was rude, abrupt and uncaring. My mother has wasted her time and energy and stressed her cat out for nothing. I would think twice about giving Dr. Neumeister your business.

Can't say enough good things about Mary and her team. They have done so much for me and my animals. Very knowledgeable, personable, and understanding. Every time we pull up to Neumeisters, my dog's tail starts wagging!

Wonderful people here..... they care for any animal that's brought through the door as their own. Took my little guy here for 16 years. Sadly took him for the last time not long ago. They were so wonderful with giving time, respect, and comfort while my fella crossed the bridge. They carried him to the car for me and ended that visit with a hug and thanks for sharing him with them for all those years.

Dr. Neumeister and staff are excellent to work with. My highly anxious pup actually likes going to the vet. As an owner, I appreciate that the staff provided 3rd party reading material so that I could do my own research. Because of that, I felt more comfortable and more involved in the decision making process, but the best part? Those decisions lead to noticeable improvements in my dog's health and energy levels, and they happened in a very short period of time.

After moving to Dubuque in 2010 with my 2 cats, Myla and Mystic, I was in search of a new veterinarian. I am so very happy to have met Dr. Neumeister. She took great care of both my cats up through their time crossing the rainbow bridge. The compassion Dr. Neumeister and her staff show to our furry family members is incredible. Now, she and Callie kitty have a good but infrequent relationship, thanks to a healthy kitty. I highly recommend Dr. Neumeister and her staff, especially Jody.

Seriously! The best experience a person & pet could ever have‼️Dr. Neumeister and her staff are very friendly, helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned for the well being & health of our new puppies! The staff offered extra information about training & care and even continued to trim my puppies nails without any hesitation. Just a great experience and super happy to have this business establishment in Dubuque!❤️?

My Dachsund developed paralysis in his hind quarters. After a thorough exam, the best course of action was recommended. Things turned out wonderfully. Very knowledgeable and compassionate staff. Could not recommend more.

Thank you, MaryLynn and staff for the great care given to our beloved dog Spencer. Everyone has been wonderful and did everything to keep our Spencer well. Losing Spencer on 9-9-21 is the hardest thing I have ever gone through but you were so compassionate with the process. . Rip Spencer , IF LOVE
