As a former entrepreneur with 35 years in business, I'd say Jerry's Pawn is spot on for prices paid and prices aimed. Their attention to detail is impeccable. The owner and the employees are very personable, friendly and caring. A must go to establishment for everyone to atleast experience what humanity is about. The poor and the well off shop and get along under one cozy roof. All walks of life meet and greet. There are no barriers, no colors, and little bigotry.We as humans will always have preferences and nuances that bleed out as we go through the wringer of life. Don't worry, everyone is accepted as well as challenged. This is a friendly pawn shop. They have always treated me with respect and kindness. They will treat you the same way.Did I say a lot of folks may not put food on their table if it weren't for a shop like this? Small and short term loans are an essential thing.Kudos

Truly, these are special people who offer their best and most often more than that. They sacrifice to help those in need. They are understanding and fair and family oriented with every guest that comes. In addition, these are strong and firm people who give and should receive respect in return. Thank you!!

We make a point of stopping there every year when we travel to DuBuque. We have purchased several items and have nothing but good to say about Jerry's. We feel the prices are fair and in line with what we would expect to pay. If someone thinks they should have received more for the item they were selling they should have tried to sell it themselves.

I went to the shop last summer to sell my engagement ring. It was a one and a half carat diamond ring with two bands. I went in last week to sell some thing else and I saw my ring in the showcase. I asked for the owner if I could see my ring she was very hesitant, and she finally showed it to me because I had stated that I would like to buy it back because it's so pretty And she said that that was not my ring. She knew where it came from and it wasn't me. I told her I have plenty of pictures with my ring on and when you wear a ring for 11 years do you know what it looks like so they bought my ring for $300 and are selling it for $2000.Not a good business at all

We went to get a repair on an item that we bought a little bit ago. It was a quick trip, and we weren't there long. Very clean and organized.

I believe that they should be sued for false advertising with that commercial about integrity. That place used to have integrity years ago but not now. If they had integrity then when someone called about an item someone borrowed and pawned, then if the person went delinquent then a place with integrity would of let them know. Not Jerry's, they'll just sell it on them.

I got at a very responsibly priced chain that worked with this pendant . She hand picked this chain and it is beautiful! She also shared with me her insights and she shared deep pride of her neighborhood, as well as shared the story behind the mural painted on her own building and about the artwork and the beauty of the downtown Dubuque area. She was very impressive. Her store is beautiful with a modern sleek feel. Filled with tons of neat little artifacts and Trinkets. All blended perfectly with genuine customer service that you only get from shopping local .

Bought a never worn engagement ring here absolutely amazing deal. She absolutely loved it and I will be coming back for the bands next and any other jewelry/tool/snowboard gear in the future. They also have great deals on guitars and amps.
