“Stayed here a few years ago for a family reunion and had no issues however this time more rules were in place prohibiting family members who lived in the area from joining us in the pool and breakfast areas, I found this frustrating and inconvenient.”

“Nice, quiet, nice view, down town but not at the same time, your away from all the Dubuquers... and the staff are nice and so are the housekeepers. Beware the hallways can be pretty cold! Lol. There's a pool, connected to the casino and a restaurant, which I didn't get a chance to try, maybe someday... the front lobby is nicely designed.Nearby activities: Casino, trail, camping, restaurant, river.Food & drinks: Breakfast is a deal breaker... only free cold breakfast.... not sure what that means but it doesn't even sound appetizing..”

“Rooms were great and pretty clean (had a few cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom). The bed and bathroom counters though were clean and beds were not bad for a hotel. My room was fairly quiet.Staff was friendly. Parking was good and location is nice due to how you’re located near fast food and departmental stores.Pool was very good too along with the hot tub.I’d stay here again.”

“I used my points to book a room We ended up right next to the elevator I went to go to bed at 10:45 when I pulled the covers back there was someone’s black sock in the bed!! This means the maid Did NOT change the sheets from the guest before me! Just made up a dirty bed and went about her work. I called the front desk and was told there was no one who could come up to change the sheets. When I went down in the morning and talked to the man at the front desk he said “oh well”. No not good. I am not happy about this at all. I guess check your bed right when you check into the room”

“Very Clean budget motel at a very reasonable price. Family owned and the owner checked me in and he was very nice and helpful. I will be back. They are remodeling rooms.

Rooms: Clean rooms. We were not expecting many amenities for the price we paid.

Food & drinks: Next to couple of restaurants.”

“We needed a place to stay for one night while our RV was having some work done to it. A server at a local restaurant suggested we give it a try. It was a good suggestion.Spoiler Alert. If you expect to get a $250 room for less than half that price and expect all of the amenities of the $250 room, don't come here and then write an ignorant review. This is clearly an older facility and lacks some of the fancy features you might find in a more expensive hotel. BUT. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom didn't have a fancy walk in shower but it had a tub and shower that worked just fine. The TV worked better than some much more expensive hotels we've stayed in and the wifi was more than adequate for our needs. The staff that we encountered were friendly and polite, and our room was quiet. We needed a good nights rest and we got it.If you expect a free breakfast with eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles and the like for the price you pay for a room here, go somewhere else. The breakfast is simple, coffee, fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, bagels and waffles. If you want more than that, go to a diner, or stay in a more expensive hotel! This hotel was perfect for our needs and if we were in the area and needed a room, we could defintely come back. If you need to drop anchor for a night or two and need a reasonably priced, clean room, by all means give this hotel a try.”
