I was very happy with my haircut at great clips

So disappointing the charge I received for what I thought was just a trim for my teenage daughter. We went into the salon and I stated my daughter needs just a cut. They took her back while I waited in lobby. After they are finished I go to pay and they tell me the total is $65. "For a haircut?" The stylist informed me they also styled it and that's an extra $40. I stated I never said we need a style and never approved that. I realize my daughter should have said something but what stylist in their right mind just makes that decision for a teen without asking the parent for approval. Needless to say, I won't be back. That is terrible communication and an extra expense I was not prepared for, nor agreed to! Be very clear the service you do and do not want when in their chair. JS

Great clips is a great place for a haircut. Everyone is so friendly. The MVP cut is $33. Well worth it. The wait is never really that long. The ladies are very professional and the haircuts are great all the time. Mariah did an awesome job.

I went in and after waiting forever ended up with a stylist with not so great people skills. Also showed her a picture that was literally of myself to show her exactly how I wanted my hair cut. It looked nothing like what I showed her and asked for and was so bad that I had to have help fixing it because of all the long hairs left over that she missed during my cut. It was so bad that as soon as my roommate saw me she asked if I cut my hair myself. If you want a decent cut I definitely suggest going elsewhere.

I went to get my hair trimmed and layered. Ask if she could French braid my hair… stylist said “we don’t style here” SINCE when does a hair salon not style?? Guess I didn’t get the memo. Also I asked for a trim and layers. Realized later she only trimmed it. No wonder my hair appointment only took 10 minutes! Never going back there !
