Got an account some years ago. Direct deposit went in at 6pm and bills came out at 7pm. But one day, for some reason, direct deposit didn't go in. Then when 7:00 p.m. came all my bills came out overdrawing my account and causing fees for each Overdraw, with my direct deposit very conspicuously, IMMEDIATELY coming in after, covering the fees. I ended up in a negative balance for about 2 weeks and only found out then they closed my bank account. I went in and basically said, "you closed my bank account?!" The teller said, "Yes, and if you don't pay your negative balance we'll send you to collections." It just so happened then and there I was coming to move money around so I paid my negative balance and asked for my original initial deposit. The teller didn't seem to understand what I was talking about and was comically forced to explain banking to the teller and that it takes an initial deposit to open an account, and that you get that initial deposit back if you close your account. The teller refused to give me the money and told me they would mail a check. I called three times over a period of 3 months asking for an update on that check and they insisted they sent it despite not receiving it. Eventually I had to threaten them with a bank ombudsman and a lawyer before they said FINE FINE JUST COME IN. Then they cut me a check for my initial deposit, some trivial amount. I couldn't believe the whole thing to be honest. My dad had an account at this location my entire life. He thought the bank was great.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Take your business elsewhere. We have been with this institution for years, pretty much our whole lives. So it is such a slap in the face finding out loyalty means nothing to these people, especially when you have never defaulted, missed payments, etc on any account or loan with them. They are a very stuck up institution and we will be looking into closing all accounts and moving our mortgage elsewhere.

Will be closing my account with them, had a hardship in 2017 with a credit card and defaulted been on my credit report ever since, as of May first they reported the same account under a different account number. Basically I have to defaults on my credit report for the same debt which is illegal when I called them the lady said they could do that and offered the number for Agency Stark collections saying they handle all dupacos collections. Then asked me if I was going to pay the debt, I told her they wrote it off as a bad debt and I offered to pay it years ago and they told me the debt wasn't there's but all the contact info for the debt is dupaco. She was rude and hung up on me. Go to community or green state stay away from dupacoUpdate Kurt Wuertzer agreed it was report in error but removed the the wrong account, inaccurately reporting to the Credit bureaus account info and deleting all payment history and credit age. Will be filing a complaint

They think nothing of messing with your finances. 1200 dollars not currently in my account that is supposed to be. Hell it took numerous phone calls to even get to the point of where they were supposed to put the money back. They don't care. Good thing I had my Xmas shopping done.

Just like my other review, go to a different bank. I lost my job a month ago and have been struggling ever since. They won't help. Last year I was charged over $300 in overdraft fees. I absolutely hate this bank.

Chad at Dupaco's business lending department is AWESOME. I've never had an issue with dupaco and everyone there wants to help you. It took me a while to find the right bank but I'm glad we did! :)

My entire family has been part of the Dupaco community since we moved to Dubuque in '99. Never a bad experience, always honest and personable. Always willing to help when it can be done. It's great to have a credit union to be able to trust and turn to. I don't think I'd trade my team for anything!

This place is a joke. Won't work with you on any arrangements. The member solution staff members keep harassing you. This place won't work with you when u have someone willing to pay your full loan off or come get car from u . I kept calling them and they kept having some excuses. I am paying but they r expecting more . How does that happen when a person only gets freaking paid 2 times a month.

This credit union is a joke! Not helpful what so ever. I decided to give this credit union a try since they ADVERTISE with commercials with something like dupaco racers to build up credit.

I started with Dupaco in 1988 and in 2013 I went in and got a car loan with Dupaco with a extend warranty the engine went out. I couldn't afford to fix the car. Dupaco would not honor the warranty. They sold the car and added the 2,000 I owned yet to a personal loan that I had threw Dupaco. I owe Dupaco 800. I went to Dupaco to see if I could pay less because I was having a hard time paying my bills. So Dupaco took me to court and now I have to pay for court cost. So if you're looking for a bank you should look somewhere else. I have been with Dupaco for 26 years and this is how they treat people.
