Cremer's Meats is a town icon and the best little grocery store you will ever find, established in the 1940s. It is a butcher shop, deli, convenience, and corner market that is friendly, clean, and very reasonably priced. They are simply the best in town for quality and pricing, offering lots of options from sandwiches to meats to prepared meals. It is not a big place, but they pack a lot into the small space without overcrowding. The staff is Iowa-friendly and the service is good. You can get a steak cut fresh for you in plain sight, and it is so fresh and delicious you will never get one that good in a restaurant. Their food is always good, with highlights including amazing Italian beef that is tender with delicious flavor, and turkey and dressing sandwiches that are out of this world. They also offer very good frozen prepared meals like spaghetti and meatballs, all at affordable prices. It is a wonderful place and a true gem to support.
We ordered their Italian beef for my mother's funeral luncheon and every single person stated how delicious it was and asking for recipes. Thanks Cremers for making a hard day a bit lighter. It was amazing Italian Beef with delicious flavor & it was so tender! Thank you so much!!
