It's a wonderful place to get an affordable haircut from a student of hair design. Truthfully though, you are not just in their hands, you also have their supervisor watching. If they have questions about a difficult area of your hair, that person will step in and advise, or even just do it while they watch, so they can learn. No matter what, your hair will be inspected when they're finished. You can request your hair to be trimmed more, thinned out, or reshaped, they will gladly do it to your liking. I have been going there since I was 6-7 years old. After moving back to the area, I decided to try them again. I'm glad I did, they are still amazing after more than 50 years! They have turned out hundreds, and thousands, of hair specialists over the years. It's a good feeling to know that I was a small, small part of them becoming a cosmetologist.

Passionate, hardworking students & attentive instructors. Had a haircut and wax with Forest and felt very comfortable and satisfied! Cheap and truly risk free with how much the students and instructors care about a good job. Support the students, spend your money here!!!

Alessandra was amazing!! She washed my hair really nice all while massaging my head doing it. She was considerate by making sure there was no color on my skin since I colored my hair as well, made sure I was comfortable, and asked if I wanted something to drink. I prefer to have little to no conversation and she picked up on that quickly. I have an edgy yet cute look which was what I was striving for!! Also, my hair turned out great having dark with caramel highlights- very pretty and was what I was desiring while getting rid of my red hair from last fall. Will definitely come back to see her and highly recommend!
