It's great if you don't mind the constant screaming of unattended kids. They start bright and early at 7am and end at 10pm prompt. If you're a type of a parent who lets their child roam free and encourages the use of their offspring's highest pitched voice then the place is definitely worth the money. Don't bother grabbing a swimsuit even though the pool area is two steps away from 90% of the rooms because it might just happened that your reservation is on the same day as a family get together and the facility is closed for a private event - Not sure how private the event is taking into consideration that most of the rooms come with a window facing the inside of the hotel and the mentioned above pool area. I'd love to add a photo however I believe it would be frowned upon since there's a bunch of kids in their swimsuits running around. Since 7 am. Two stars for being dog friendly and shout out to the nice lady who worked the breakfast area picking up after everybody's kids - you need to pay the dog fee though. One night for two people and two dogs in a room overlooking the outdated indoor water park will run you $200. Perks - no need to set an alarm because you will be awaken at 7 am by the joyful screams. Also, if you prefer a dry climate you might want to reconsider. It's definitely Florida mid August type of humidity. It smells clean though - Possibly because of the pool that is right at your doorstep.

Nice hotel, a few beetles creeping around... but overall quality was very good.Rooms: Clean rooms, well kept.Noteworthy details: Occasionally they close off the main part of the hotel for filming videos or conventions.

Staff wasn't very friendly. Had to go to front desk for towels for the pool and also blankets for the hideaway bed. Other hotel guest were rude in pool and keep the gate open with a chair.

This place is immaculate clean.the only thing I got to say is that if you are a couple with no kids, don't come here on new years eve expecting it to be peaceful and quiet. There were usually around 15-20 kids in the pool from 3pm until around midnight and no chance of getting into the hot tub, that was full of screaming kids atleast 8-10 kids with no parents watching. If you want hot tub time get a room with 1 in the room, plus it is super convenient with the restaurant attached. It's a great restaurantRooms: The room was super immaculate, rarely run across rooms the clean and well kept

If you want quiet don't get a pool view room. Screaming kids all day. Was driving around at 7 am on Christmas looking for breakfast, they had cereal bars...?! Breakfast the next 2 days was very good. Pool was nice. Sinuses are much better after we left. Chlorine smell is awful.

A neat place to visit for fun, but for business travelers, internet speeds are so slow I must use my own hotspot.Rooms are clean and staff very pleasant.

Very disgusting! Came home and unloaded our bags. My backpack was sitting on the counter of our kitchen and a fairly large cockroach crawled out of my bag. It appears nice but very old and outdated with clearly a roach infestation. Do NOT stay there unless you want unwelcomed bugs to come home with you. It's a zero star from me. Only gave it a one star to post. Gross gross gross ?

We stay at this hotel everything we come to Dubuque to visit my son, and we are always very pleased. Just booked our next stay though, and I was shocked that the price of our room is $304! I was told that it was because it's a big weekend. Unbelievable jack up of prices.....

As a senior citizen I was happy that the bathroom had a high toilet instead of low one. Being my knees aren't as good as they should be using that toilet was a joy. Thank for thinking of us seniors. The room and food was excellent. Enjoy my

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are great. I checked in with several friends for our college reunion. The young woman at the desk, Larissa (spelling?) was great. One of my friends needed something. Larissa was busy with people checking into their rooms. Larissa told my friend that she would bring my friend what she needed as soon as she got a chance. Less than a half hour later she was at my friend's door with the item. Larissa has great people skills. She's an outstanding representative for your hotel.Rooms: I loved that there was a couch and coffee table in the room. There was plenty of room on the bathroom counter for my things. The attached bar and restaurant are really nice. The breakfast included was excellent.

Friendly, helpful staff, rooms are very clean, great hot breakfast. Pool area is very nice, but if you don't like noise ask for a room away from the pool. Great location, close to restaurants and shopping. We were visiting Galena and it was a short trip to cross the bridge. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is there is not much water pressure in the shower

Where do I begin! Parking lot party central in and out traffic of younger kids and loud music! On and off of all hours. The lets talk about breakfast.... 7am? May just be me but seems a bit late especially on a Sunday for the average travel who is ready to get on the road! From what's listed on the "breakfast menu" to what's out... ehh!! You have to walk all the way to the back of the building into the restaurant to get it. There needs to be better direction, I have watched people look around for it. The cleaning lady started before breakfast, vacuum in front of me as I read the paper and try to listen to the news, basically pushing me out of my chair! Now let's talk about the wonderful but so pleasant front desk women!! Sarcasm can you tell?! On this October 1st morning she is just chipper, wow! No emotion, no kindness in her voice and NO smile on her face at all! I have watched all these customers in and out and asking questions and she is short snippy and rude. Like she does not want to be here at all!

This hotel was very pleasant with a lovely atrium and pool area. The room was clean and very quiet. Breakfast was good. The staff were all extremely friendly with smiles all around. I would definitely stay again.

I chose this hotel due to its location and because this hotel has a 9ft deep pool. It can be difficult to get out of the parking lot at times but nothing horrible. The room (#101) was nice and spacious. There is a bug problem in the bathroom though. The bugs seem to be coming from the walls. There is a gap between the wall and bottom vertical tile. They did not take my concerns seriously. So I just ended up putting up with it and killed those bugs daily as I saw them. My stay was for 14 days, 13 nights. My room was never made up. Even after requesting at the front desk. I was just told they’re busy and will get to it. Very disappointing stay.
