Once they installed self checkouts, my interest in this place declined greatly… I’m already doing most of the work while shopping here. The best part was the speedy cashiers & friendly lines where folks would occasionally let people with a couple items go ahead of them. Now there’s less incentive for Aldi to keep their stores well-staffed & to open up more registers when busy

No cashiers. No keto pumpkin seed or keto coconut snacks. Haven't had my favorite unsweetened ice tea for 2 years. Disappointing trip.

Good location, same selection as other stores. Since they built the other store in town, this one isn't so crazy busy, and that's a good thing. If you live West of town, this is your store.

Clean store!!! Sometimes, they are out of the things you're looking for, but other than that, you'll find that ALDI has some great food products and clean produce.

Very friendly workers and best prices on everything! Especially love Aldi’s fruit and vegetables so fresh not overpriced. Dubuque Aldi’s is always busy even with new Aldi’s store now open!

Don't forget to bring your own bags. This is a discount grocery store where you can find some "high-end style" of food and gifts. If you're looking for a specific brand it might not be available at the store (for example my husband wanted Triscuit brand crackers that wasn't there, but there were other really tasty cracker choices). I found some really nice cheese flavors that will be great for a wine and cheese night, there is some great spreads such as fig spread and a very nice honey, but you definitely can't expect a find the typical peanut butter choices that you might see at a regular grocery store. This will be my new, favorite store for searching out unexpected items to round out my pantry.
