today was the last time I'm ever going to deal with Walmart's auto care center for tires. I had a tire install earlier this year that was a complete nightmare. when I got in it was extremely disorganized, they couldn't find my tires, then when they did find them they didn't honor my appointment time and I sat for a ridiculous amount of time waiting for four tires to be installed. in the meantime the employee that was installing them didn't like working at Walmart and he was walking around complaining all the time. and so the person at the counter that I dealt with was complaining about him. it was just a pathetic situation. I should have learned my lesson but a week ago I scheduled another install for another one of my cars and this morning right before I'm going to leave to go to the store I just happen to look at the app and discovered one of my tires wasn't in. I called the auto care center to verify and the person I spoke to just parked me on hold and never came back to the phone. I tried calling back a couple more times and they never answered. I finally got through and verified that one of my four tires didn't show up. Nice of them to call and let the customer know before they drive all the way there to find out that the order isn't available. and he couldn't tell me at all when it might show up. on top of that he told me I would just have to go back and reschedule another appointment like why in the world would I do that when they can't even tell me when the tire is going to show up? I then tried to cancel it online and it wouldn't let me so then I called Walmart customer care and after 44 minutes on the phone with them I find out that they cannot cancel it either because the tires are already at the store. so then they called the store to get it canceled and weren't successful. so then I was told I would be transferred to some supervisor to get this order canceled and after a long period of hold I got dumped back into the Walmart automated system. so then I called the auto care center back again and this time I spoke with the manager and she told me that the order is canceled now, but I will just have to wait and see if that's really the case or not. I then asked why in the world would you not call the customer before their arrival to let them know that their order isn't available and she told me that the tires get unloaded off of the truck and put in their back room and they don't really know until they go to look for them when the customer shows up. how ridiculous is this?? I will end up having to pay a little more money to go somewhere else but man will it be worth it to deal with a competent operation... final update: after more time consuming contact with their customer service, i FINALLY got all my tires refunded, but at great frustration and time.

TOOK ABSOLUTELY FOREVER FOR A TIRE CHANGE! Our tire blew out on the highway and I thought we were lucky to be this close to Walmart - only to come here and take almost 2 hrs for a simple tire change. We could’ve been to our destination by now ?

Did you think you wouldn’t notice such an obvious crack on the tire? After several days of continuous observation, I determined that my tire was slowly leaking, so I went to Walmart Windsor Heights auto center to fix the tire at about 5 PM Yesterday. After waiting for two hours, at their closing time they told me the tire was fixed. But the next day I found that the tire had a lot of cracks around the tire side wall, which I had never seen before. So I went to the store again to ask what was going on, but the Auto center manager who helped me had a very bad attitude. He just glanced at it casually and insisted that it was weather cracks. I said that there were not so many and such obvious cracks before I went to here repaired the tire. But he insisted that I was negligent and didn't see it, they had no responsibility, their only mistake was that they didn't inform me at the time, and said that if I don't believe him, he can check the surveillance to prove it, I said ok then we can take a look video, he immediately said that he could not show it to me right away and would have to wait for several hours. Then he did apologies in a very impatient and condescending manner. I told him that I cannot accept such an apology. After a while of arguing, the manager said with a dismissive attitude what do you want? I laughed angrily, and I told him to give me a refund, and we can stop this conversation. but the arrogant manager reprimanded me and said, don’t talk to me anymore, otherwise I won’t give you a refund , and then he continued to blather me and blame me for their mistakes. Since oil change, my vehicle engine is mess up. Techs are suppose to be certified and acknowledgble in service they provide. By allow customers to chose a oil that is not recommended for my vehicle tech went ahead and put wrong oil in my engine, now my vehicle has cause major problems. Oil pump to timing chain to oil solenoid. Are these tech really certified? Where do or how do they get certified?

Good Service at a Great Price. One thing to definitely Consider ; Most Jobs take Longer then you would expect at Walmart so be prepared to wait and Extra 30 minutes to 2 Hours.

I was on hold for 24 mins just so they can pick up and hang up on me. ? now my boyfriend is on the phone on hold for over 22. We can hear them talking on and off. This is horrible.

Worst experience getting my oil changed in the entire 30 years I’ve been driving. I think we can all agree an oil change and tire rotation should take no more than 90 minutes on a bad day, in most cases it should take less than an hour. I showed up at 8:05 AM and didn’t leave there until almost 11:30 AM, ridiculous that I was there over three hours for some basic services. The positives are that the guy running the place seemed decent, I think he was the manager as his picture was on the wall. There was an older lady working there as well that was a little bit rude, I won’t be going back.Service: Oil change

I bought a Everstart battery here less than a year ago. The battery seemed to be going bad. I stopped back here for them to check it. Leon Took care of me and got a technician to check and take the junk battery out and put in a new one for me in good time.
