I always loved going to Walgreens til yesterday morning, I was treated with "RACISM" from the older white woman cashier by the door with the brown and grey hair, THEN AGAIN with the under 30 so called "manager" blond kid on EAST UNIVERSITY st in Des Moines, I wouldn't recommend ANY person of color THAT store

This pharmacy is the worst. The hours they are open are inconvenient to anyone with a 9-5 job. The staff are unhelpful. Their system has required us to contact the doctor every month unlike my previous pharmacy. If CVS was still in network with my insurance I would go there instead.

I’ve been going to this location for 11 years. I’ve had occasional problems time to time - it happens. Today I was assisted by Sarah who was incredibly rude. Impolite and spoke to me as if I’m stupid. Having a soul might make work more enjoyable for her. Very very very rude.

There was this blue haired guy that rules and new policies every time I went there. We moved all of our prescriptions elsewhere. There are too many places you can go and be treated as if they felt happy you do business at their pharmacy.

The store is well layed out and easy to walk through. They keep the shelves stocked and always open to get things from. The staff is friendly and treats you like a human. They are more than happy to help you find things or answer questions. The pharmacy is always busy but the staff can help get you what you need and answer questions fast. The products there are always fresh and they seem to keep up with the current trends and seasons. Very happy and great place to return to.
