I've only been in the store once when visiting family but have purchased online a couple times since I live out of state and have been extremely happy with the items I received and how quickly items were shipped. Whoever buys for the store does an excellent job -- great merchandise!

Had a good experience getting some nice things for my wife. Higher end than most DSM women's stores. Good sale prices when they happen. Selection could be bigger but it is what it is. Nice unique jewelry pieces that you won't find elsewhere. Service was excellent

I love the Velvet Coat. It's a beautifully curated shop. Everything is sophisticated and modern with an eye toward fit and wearability. They offer color, pattern, and material choices that feel quite exceptional. When I try items on I am always impressed by the fit and craftsmanship of each garment; someone (probably both designer and buyer) was actually paying close attention to how this will hang, drape and gather. I am also petite which can make shopping difficult, and I manage to find things that work for my frame. While they have a range of prices and a regular sale section, it's fairly expensive--as it should be. My VC pieces are some of my most-often-worn and complimented items in my closet.

Aesthetically pleasing women's clothing and accessories shop. Their wares are also aesthetically pleasing!! I was fortunate to be visiting on the day after summer markdowns, and discovered about 80% of inventory was discounted. I especially appreciated the unique jewelry and purses, but was impressed by the shoe selection as well. Clothing sizes are solidly in the misses range, so be prepared mentally to not find clothing in the range referred to as "women's" sizes. The staff person working was exceptionally helpful and I left with a pair of one of a kind quill earrings that left me swooning.

Just want to let customers know that the Sim Perks program can be removed per owner's whim. Had $50 in account but when tried to redeem was told owner deleted my account.
