The employees were ready to help me with any questions I had, but not pushy at all about selling expensive things to me. I really appreciate how they were able to help me find the right guitar for my sister. They were unbelievably kind; I'm extremely appreciative of Uptempo for their help. They have electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, percussion, woodwinds, and more that I didn't even take note of. Please stop here if you have any musical needs.

Just got my sons first guitar from here. They were very helpful and some of the friendliest people I've ever met! Me playing guitar my whole life and them not knowing that and not trying to up sale or under sale me was felt amazing! Will definitely be my go to for anything musical in the future.

Amazing Music Store! They were open on Labor Day which is a huge plus. I was playing a new instrument for Hs marching band. The man there was happy to help me find a good basics book and valve oil. I also needed a mechanical metronome and It worked amazing. Will definitely stop more often for my instrument needs

Awesome customer service!!!!! I called and was able to pick up a clarinet for my daughter in 30 minutes by far the easiest process— we were in & out quickly. Definitely recommend to all!!!

I bought a trombone and flute from Uptempo and have been a customer for a few years now. I had the flute serviced in the spring and they charged me $76. I questioned the charges and asked for a receipt of the services. The owner immediately became defensive and was not pleasant about the request. Fast forward to today…. I’m selling the flute and they want it checked out by Uptempo to make sure it’s not a lemon. The owner again, was not pleasant, immediately annoyed, and was EXTREMELY RUDE! Told us to get out of his store and quit taking up his parking spots. He could have been professional and made this nice lady feel comfortable about the purchase and definitely had a new customer, but instead acted like an inmature child and had a mantrum in front of a child. Go to Riemans instead, they’ve always been professional and friendly.

I'm so happy I found this place.I bought a mail order ukulele 6 months ago that I was never totally happy with (entry level) and wanted to upgrade to one that addressed issues I had with it. I wanted to actually try the instrument before I bought it.Up tempo has a nice ukulele room with a good selection. I was able to find an instrument that I am extremely happy with. The amazing thing is their price for the instrument I bought beat or matched the mail order prices I could find for the same instrument. I got to try before I bought, and went home with my new ukulele. (no wait for shipping, no wondering if the quality control on the one that arrives matches the one I tried out).Ukulele is a new hobby for me, but clarinet is a life long calling. Up tempo appears to be very into band instruments, and I will certainly go there first for my future needs in that area too.

Wonderful customer service!!! I called at 4PM on Tuesday to ask about oboe reed availability. They only had a few left, and offered to ship them to me. To my shock, they arrived in the mail by noon the NEXT day! These are the best oboe reeds our daughter has ever had, and the quick availability was so helpful! Uptempo will most certainly get more of our business for all of our musical needs.

I went in today to get my son a percussion kit for school. Was told I couldn’t pay half in cash(I don’t get paid for a week so his grandpa gave me what I was short for the book he needs). I was told I had to pay the full amount with a card. I went out I called a friend and got her to send me the difference. Then I was told my bank account isn’t a bank account because I don’t have a line or credit with them instead of just a debt card and he prefers a credit card. Then when asked about my employment and I said I was on disability and was informed that I would need to have a “co-signer with a bank card.” My disabled money apparently wasn’t good enough. It’s cool, I went to Rieman’s, got a better set at a better price with a wonderful gentleman who put everything in a rolling case to make it easier for my 10yr old to travel with. I will be telling all of my friend’s with children starting instruments to splurge a little and go to the better place.
