STAY AWAY. Ordered a $115 bouquet online, paid online. Received a call hours later saying they needed me to cash app them(red flag). Late delivery next day and not the arrangement I ordered(see pics). Tried calling, got the attached text messages instead. Offered to refund me $20, which I said wasn’t acceptable. Instead of offering an apology or full reimbursement, they said they were going to the recipients house to repossess the flowers. By far the most unprofessional business I’ve experienced in Des Moines over the last 40+ years. (Update) Now you want to name drop and tell lies in your response to my review?! Ok, Bobbi Meldrem-Liker….First off my card was NOT declined. You called after my online purchase and said since you can’t do same day delivery for online orders and because it would be the next day, that I had to pay with PayPal/Zelle/Cashapp. I assume that’s so you can skirt the CC fees or IRS. Second, you did not offer a full refund, you offered $20. When I said that wasn’t acceptable you said you were on your way to pick up the flowers and would give me my money back after that. EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I wish I would have saw all of the negative reviews on Yelp/Facebook/Google/BBB before ordering. Hope this saves others from dealing with this super shady place! Oh and Bobbi/Barbara, we can keep this review going as long as you want :)

I called and left a message about a flower delivery. She promptly returned my call and I was able to place my order. They were so so appreciative of me using their family business. The flowers my daughter received were gorgeous! Thank you Thank you!!! I would highly recommend.

I left a review over a month ago about how terrible my anniversary bouquet turned out and this small business’ poor customer service. I will preface that we ordered from the Urbandale location which magically disappeared online… The first thing that threw me off was the fact they had my boyfriend pay through cashapp because their payment system was down. Then I received a phone call from the business saying they wouldn’t be able to deliver it when my boyfriend requested and that it would be around 4– which I said was fine but I would be out with my mom and that I would just need a 30 minute heads up so I could meet them at my house (they didn’t want to leave the flowers outside in the heat). Then, 2:30pm rolls around and I get a phone call from the business again, they say they’re on their way with the flowers. I was confused and explained that they previously said 4 now they’re way earlier and I’m nowhere near my house right now. They complained that they had to drive 45 minutes north and that they wouldn’t leave them outside and they had to deliver them now or it was an inconvenience for them. The woman over the phone had a terrible attitude, was so rude to me, and proceeded to make me feel bad like this whole situation was my fault. The icing on the cake was the actual flowers I received and how TERRIBLE and small they were. They looked nothing like what my boyfriend selected online. We will be sticking with Boesen from now on and never ordering through this floral company again.

fabulous flowers - the dahlias and peonies were stunning every other florist was telling us the peonies were out of season but your shop knew they are able to be sent in from Alaska!!! Thanks for the great service. My friends dog loved the dog treats you sell.
